Seriously, it can't just be cash (plenty of programs do that) or the SEC brand. What are they pitching?

The most beautiful campus, not on a coast, I have ever seen.

The women are very impressive.

Ole Miss has all the perks of an SEC school, plus no depth chart, plus the chance to be part of something new, rather than just part of the System. They seem to be doing well selling the Next Best Thing.

It also offers the least academically intimidating environment possible.

And I definitely think money was involved for some of these kids. It always turns out to be the case.

Ole Miss offers the SEC, immediate playing time, sweet campus life, and they're actually playing pretty well this year. They've already beaten Texas and LSU this year. They'll probably finish 8-5 or 9-4.

The No. 2-ranked athlete in the country will take an unofficial visit to Alabama this weekend.

Don't forget the blatant and not so blatant racism. Really brings the team together.

Wouldn't be surprised is Nicky Satan rescinded the offer after the injury news....

Per BGI, Bo told the staff he is more interested in knowing about ND. He has a very close relationship with Alford. It could be a deciding factor down the line. He is still committed to Bama. He did tell recruits like Corey Holmes that ND is still in the running for him.

Yeah... a bruised knee this year trumps a torn ACL he had last season when he was also committed. Shame on Nick for not pulling it then.

I hear ya.

Not going to happen but interesting game to me. One of my best buds is a Bama grad and uber fan. He said the fan base is overly concerned about this weekend. UT is improving quicker than I thought but I still think the O has a long long way to go before they are consistent.

Not surprising. I was yelled at multiple times by fans and ushers for standing and cheering at the USC game. Same crap as always.

I had a guy call for an usher for when I stood up AFTER brindza made the go ahead field goal against Purdue last year...

Are you serious??? I've never been to a game in South Bend, so I had no idea it was like that. Sort of kills a lot of what makes up the home field advantage, doesn't it?

it is never like that in section 21 rows 34 through 37 baby

I was in Section 19 when this happened. I looked back at 21 and saw a lot of people actually standing and cheering so kudos. My friend and I were getting yelled at by ND fans to sit down during the fourth quarter on big defensive plays. We told them to get the usher who came over and asked us to sit. I asked him about the whole staND thing and he said that means you can only stand and cheer when the staND thing flashes on the scoreboard. Our section was mostly dead silent for a 4 pt game against our most heated rivalry game.

Absolutely. This is why so many opposing teams have called out ND as an easy place to play.

Well done. We had some guys directly behind us who thanked us. The one is a third generation domer and third generation season ticket holder who always had trouble with the other fans in the section so he didn't even bother trying to stand anymore. We gave him an excuse to so he loved it.

I got told by the people sitting NEXT TO ME to sit down. I wasn't obstructing their view in anyway at all considering I was in the upper bowl between the 45 yard lines.

I was getting pissed so the guy I was with just took me to the student section.

ND Stadium is a JOKE.
