If we get left out of the NC bc Oregon won their conference championship, do you see ND adding a 13th game? It may be an issue with the playoff if we miss the top 4? Or joining the ACC ?

A playoff system won't care about a conference championship or joining the ACC. That actually helps ND out tremendously.

It could cost us this year if all 4 end up undefeated but there is still plenty of time

I don't see that happening because then with a bowl game they would play 14 games. And a conference championship game is goingto mean more.

The only thing I could see is if KSU and us don't make the NCG (Alabama vs Oregon), us trying to schedule each other to get in. But our schedule's dont jive (they are off when we play USC) and they play UT when we are off. Who else could we schedule that weekend? Im not sure any really good team would agree to play us unless they thought it would make them squeak into a BCS bowl with a win. None of the SEC schools or PAC12/ BIG12 schools would want to do it to hurt a conference team.

I dont really see it happening.

i just dont see something like this happening because our schedule is usually tough enough to outweigh other teams schedules minus the sec west. if we are 12-0 we will always be in the playoffs aand if we are 11-1 and we miss the playoffs it will be a freak situation like what could potentially happen this year if k state and oregon win out. boy would the playoffs help us out this year

I could be wrong, but I think the only way a school can schedule a 13th game is if they go to Hawaii.

If possible and we are on the outside looking in why not schedule it? Hawaii or whoever just get another game to boost our resume as much as possible. Only problem is I'm pretty sure they already tried to schedule Hawaii and couldn't get it done.

How much does that actually boost you though? Most of the others will be playing conference championships and you'll go rolling into friggin' Aloha Stadium. How does that help you?

Sounds like some people are suggesting scheduling another game this year. I'm going out on a limb here and saying that scheduling another game this season is impossible.
