FSU fans saying they have a shot with Cook as well, he was at their camp this week I believe. They just accepted Jonathan Vickers verbal ( 3 :s:

rb from Tallahasee) so who knows, Cook is probably a pipe dream.

Kid measured in at 6'4" 292lb at the Opening!!! I thought 3-4 DE when he was at 265lb but damn he could actually play NG.

Clark on the left and Moten on the right. From reading fans comment during The Opening/Clark's commitment/Moten's decommitment it seemed fans from UF & Miami both like Moten better

This would be an absolutely sick pull if it somehow happened. Has he had any comment yet on his decision to decommit, OVs, etc.?

I think the thought was he was decommitting from UF to commit to Miami but he hasn't done that yet...

Right... I haven't seen an update on him since it was a "done deal" to Miami... did he ever publicly say why he dropped Florida and is no longer considering them? Has he talked about a decision schedule or OVs? The last update on 247 (a week ago) had him leaning back towards Florida... now they're not in his Top 5.

Basically, I haven't been following this kid at all and am surprised to be in a top 5 and for some reason seeing MSU considered (plus Corey Holmes) gives me a little bit of hope about this.

He cited UF's depth chart at DT as the reason for his decommit. I'm always skeptical of guys that are scared off by depth charts.

According to ISD Intel ND may have a better chance of getting to show him what ND can offer him. Holmes said he would visit with him anytime and Moten said he is for sure coming up in the fall.

Holmes and Yeargin are a big reason that he is considering ND. It doesn't seem like it's in the "I want to play with my buddies" way but more like he trust those two and they have been doing a good job of selling ND

TJ at II said that we are recruiting Moten but maybe not as much as you may think currently. Its a situation to follow and depending on different things playing out we could move on him harder in the future. The top of the board currently sits Elam, Holley, and Curtis. Moten may become viable in the future. I basically take that to mean that if we start to miss on others will make a strong push for Moten.

I didn't realize Curtis was still viewed as an option. There seems to be nothing recently as far as his interest in ND, which would open the door for Moten.

Curtis was supposed to commit to Arizona a couple weeks back but he delayed it. It is all a foregone conclusion at this point though.

There is strong stuff going around not from me. That he is looking at depth charts very closely and "afraid of competition"
per 24 7 Miami and South Carolina have the upper hand at the moment.
