What is the "uniform surprise"?

I think one of the best things about ND is the classic uniforms, but I'm not totally against doing some different things. I thought the uniforms we wore at Michigan two seasons ago were as cool as any I've ever seen. The Shamrock Series uniforms have been OK, too. I would just want them to stick within these parameters:

1. Always gold helmets (this new gold).

2. Always gold pants.

3. Never gold jerseys.

Other than that, go nuts.

I agree. The uniforms for the 2011 Michigan game were awesome. The helmet was classic. I wish ND would wear them again, and not lose in the last thirty seconds.

If they were done right.. I think they would look awesome.. Dont half *** it with the khaki color crap.. If adidas can come up with a very close gold clothing color like our helmets, I think they could look really cool for a shamrock series game.. Gotta have gold shoes as well..

I'm totally down with gold on gold on gold on gold on gold.....

Last year I actually didn't mind the Shamrock helmet, but after further thought, never change the helmet. You can alter the rest if necessary, but never change the helmet.

That's pretty sick. I was never a huge fan of Tennessee (grew up with their fans shitting on my ND fanhood), but I always liked that orange.

EDIT: I would scratch the orange facemask though. White is best for that helmet.

I could see it involving lots of black. There are always vids of teams flipping out when they find out they are wearing black.
