First post here on IE but would like to give my thoughts on the whole EV ordeal.
First I am a Bama fan but grew up watching Notre Dame in the early 80's. It feels like it was just yesterday when ole Lou was whipping the U when everyone doubted him. I am glad to see the Irish get back to being one of the great college football teams in the country.
Now... about the EV deal. Notre Dame should hold him to it and if he chooses to not report then that's on him. He has yet to give a reason I would think that would be valid for the Irish to release him. The young man has a right to change his mind.... but he also made a commitment to Notre Dame and it appears he is going to learn an early life lesson on what commitment means. Stick to your guns Notre Dame.... and let the Cali lawyers like that clown that was posting his "War and Peace" responses yesterday cry about it.
Steve, that is Steve. Welcome aboard Tommy, but you have to get by the rules and address him as Steve! LOL!
