Conveniently, Catholic theology has created a place for athlete's like Nathan Starks. It's called limbo! That is, if he can ever find a way out of the purgatory he has gotten himself into.So how about that Nathan Starks guy from NV? I heard he is a pretty good athlete.
They said it was only because his future is up in the air which to me shouldn't effect his current evaluation but maybe when they evaluate after the season but whatevs
I agree it shouldn't affect his evaluation. They rank kids that can barely read very high so why not Starks too?
Per Wiltfong, Starks hasn't been ruled out, but the process will take a while to play out.
Whatever ND decides to do will be the right decision. I don't really understand this whole situation so it's too much for me to comment on.
Top 2 of ND and OU. USC dropped him
Said Alford has been like a role model for him and is 100% in his corner
Looking at Burbank or Serra for HS, both in CA

“I’m really close with coach (Tony) Alford (of Notre Dame). He’s been a great role model, he’s leading me in the direction I need to go... He said he’s in my corner 100%, he’s going to help me and guide me, help me get back on my feet and everything. He realized that the situation is bad, I’m seventeen and I made a mistake. He tells me to keep working, keep my grades up, and everything will be good.”
Blurb on ND since this is so high profile, courtesy of 24/7.
I would expect Alford to do this even if we "dropped" him as well. He is a guy that shows these kids he cares for them outside of football. Class act.

Exactly, which is why I still personally don't take this as a concrete sign that he has an actionable offer from us. I think if he still wanted to come to ND the timetable is going to be stretched considerable further than he may want, giving ND ample time to make sure they have all their basis covered and are 100% comfortable with the situation at hand and Nathan's response and growth to this situation.

When asked if ND is still recruiting Starks, TJ34 said depends on your definition of "recruiting". Starks and ND maintain communication but he needs to get his stuff (high school, issues etc) sorted out before any real recruiting.
