Here they are! Last Monday my first children came into the world! Awesome experience that really can't be put into words. Thanks for all the kind words from my IE brothers. I said I'd post some pics....

Advice: When one gets hungry in the middle of the night, wake the other one up and feed him/her too. Do not let them get off schedule from each other.

I admit that when I first saw this thread title that it would be about a certain Major League Baseball team. I'm very glad that it concerns something with a positive, encouraging topic.

Missed that part -- your first children? Already planning more? You are a man among men. I have just one, and most of the time I feel like my tank is full...

If I have any more I'm going to need family help or a psychiatrist or methamphetamine or something...

I had a professor give a talk about how to deal with life and family as an attorney. One person asked her when she decided to have kids and why. She said "It's a totally illogical, purely emotional decision. How could it not be? There will never be a time in your life when you think "I really think I have the time where I could be responsible for another human being right now.""

I thought that was a great way to put it. There will never be a "good time" to have kids. You just go for it when you want them.

We can't wait to have more. We want a big family. Something about seeing their faces really melts away all of that "Selfish and happliy married" lifestyle that you and the wife are accustomed to before the kids. It's awesome.
