Depends on how the new no.1 RB works out. If GAIII, Carlisle, Mahone, Bryant, Folston or McDaniel can collectively create a commitee that is effective, I don't think he quite gets there (though it will be close).

If the RBs can't be counted on the carry the load like Riddick/Wood and EG stays healthy, I think he will easily pass the 3,000 mark.

Id really like to see him pass for 3,000 yards, it probably depends on how well we run the ball. Hopefully we can manhandle all the weaker teams on the schedule unlike last year! I always like the random 50 yard bombs thrown in there like against Oklahoma

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly was asked about the progress of quarterback Everett Golson since the national championship game. Brian Kelly: "I think last year when we had a team meeting, he was on the back of his chair. Now he's on the edge of his seat." ... SBT: Is he bigger physically? Brian Kelly: "That was a point of emphasis. As I look at our medical report, he had more time missed (in practice) than any other player relative to the injuries across the board for a starter -- other than somebody that was lost for the year. So getting thicker, getting stronger has been a point of emphasis. And he's definitely moving toward being able to eradicate some of those things. He's 186 now. He finished last season at 178.

A bigger, better Irish QB

This part I love. However, at his height and frame, he can stop at 190. We don't want any Jamarcus soft bellies out there.
