Fact. In his first year he was at 2405, plus he missed a game and had the Michigan debacle.

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly was asked about the progress of quarterback Everett Golson since the national championship game. Brian Kelly: "I think last year when we had a team meeting, he was on the back of his chair. Now he's on the edge of his seat." ... SBT: Is he bigger physically? Brian Kelly: "That was a point of emphasis. As I look at our medical report, he had more time missed (in practice) than any other player relative to the injuries across the board for a starter -- other than somebody that was lost for the year. So getting thicker, getting stronger has been a point of emphasis. And he's definitely moving toward being able to eradicate some of those things. He's 186 now. He finished last season at 178.
