idk why people arent high on kendall

He's been behind both Fox and Calabrese on the depth chart for his entire career. Since both of those guys have been relatively unimpressive for significant periods, it doesn't inspire much confidence in Moore's abilities.

Kendall in some ways reminds me of Filer. I sat at the computer all that year scratching my head in confusion as board posters continued to boost Filer's stock and couldn't figure out why. His fantastic athleticism seemed to blind everyone to the fact that he couldn't really figure out the game.

In this way, Kendall must be somewhat the same guy. Kelly has praised his special teams and scout squad work, so he has nothing against him. Kendall seems to be a good guy also. He has been given some shots, particularly in Springs to make some waves, but in the end, as Whiskey just posted, BOTH Carlo and Dan beat him out even when they were obviously still very flawed themselves. The occasional big hit or nice-looking play doesn't cut it if your overall "grade" for the day [think "incorrect fits"] is punk.

I ALWAYS root for our guys to suddenly explode into their potentials, win games, make All-Star teams, and big bucks in the NFL. I've seen nothing to suggest that Kendall can do that, but I'm hoping that he does.

Clowney is going #1 next year, barring a catastrophic injury or legal trouble.

How can you possibly know what the #1 need for the first pick is at this point? What if the #1 pick team changes coaches (after all, they were the worst team) and move to a 3-4 defense without actually having a Nose?

Clowney sure seems like he is the best player in next year's draft class, but that doesn't not guarantee him as the first pick.

Yeah, I was going to offer a bet to him (and even give him better odds) taking the field over Clowney as the #1 pick, but I shouldn't bet vbucks this far in advance as I will probably go vbankrupt and not be able to pay up if I were wrong, lol.

That's true.

Saw the same article and was surprised to see Nix named as the potential #1 pick. I don't recall NG being a regular position represented in Top 5 Draft Picks very often in the past.

Also liked the "Whatcha talking bout Pope?!?!" tweet.

To be fair, the Rotoworld blurb was responding to some article that said Clowney should just take this season off because he would be guaranteed to go #1 regardless if he stays healthy.

IMO, if the team picking first has other needs then somebody will trade up to get Clowney. I think he's that good.

Hate when I eat the last bite and didn’t notice it was the last bite so I couldn’t mentally prepare myself and get any closure.

if Manziel has another Heisman like season and comes out, he would be in contention for the #1 pick. His public profile was be so high you know some downtrodden franchise at that spot might be tempted..

Big Lou is obviously one of a kind --- easily the playfully nuttiest great player I can ever remember at Notre Dame.

what is Louis Nix doing for his spring break? Heading out to Arizona to work out for the week with Kendall Moore plus others.

This guy gets it.

Per TV Lou started spring break at 365 and is down to 353 agree a few days in AZ with a different diet and "speed" work.

Probably why a 360 lb nose guard is in a boot camp style speed program in AZ for spring break instead of relaxing on South Beach. :)

WHOA. I thought they liked him at like 330?

Um, Buster, who does anyone ever tell the truth about? Height, weight, forty time?

Nobody. And it works both ways! You take a guy that big, with that kind of density, and he is going to be up the chart. I personally don't think he ever got down to 340. He is just, as we used to say, a man mountain!
