I'd be the dude picking fights in airports whilst drunk on Kool aide... I see dshans as the one who knows just how to poison trees... pat is definately the teabagger.
I see JohnnyKillz as the type to celebrate by getting three chicks drunk, taping the going's on while shouting stuff about ND's greatest, as well as his own... then putting it on the internet only to find each girl was underage.

All this KSU losing to Texas talk is all well and good. I have a question. Is this the Texas team that I watched The Sooners boat race a few weeks ago? Why should I think that Texas can beat KSU? Thats actually two questions but you get my point.
Trouble is, K-State plays Texas - a comparable team to USC in many ways - the following week. I guess if we whooped up on USC and they squeaked by Texas we might stay ahead of them. But they'd essentially have a chance to answer whatever we do.
I can't imagine how K-State, with its overblown Big 12 schedule and its 20 fans, would somehow go to the national title game ahead of an undefeated Notre Dame, but that's what it's coming to. We need a loss. Still, I'd bet someone loses.
I havent heard of any conspiracy theory but ill bet 20 billion vBucks that we jump ahead of K State if we beat out USC and they remain unscathed.
Anyone game?
I also hope we'll have the chance to make this bet...
We are gaining media steam like a motha****a.
In fact, a lot of haters at work are stunned.
One said, "Damn, them Irish are stout. That ND defense is no joke."
To further elaborate, a Trojan fan asked if I wanted to bet his team versus mine in which the winner would wear the other team's jersey to work the next day. I told him, hell I guess. Then he replied, "Hell to the no. Them Irish are gonna take it home."
Believe.
Which made me think:
Who from IE will be doing the teabagging to a passed-out fan outside a Krystal at whichever bowl game ND does go to?
Off the top of my head, I nominate-- Johnny, Salty, GB, and dshans (the old man balls factor). Irishpat might be a candidate to just do it anyway.

ND received 1346 points in the most recent coaches poll. Of the 59 voters, 1 (Kelly) voted us number 1. So the other 58 voters accounted for 1321 points (1346-25). After dividing that number by 58 to find the avg. points from the other 58 coaches you get 22.776 (25 is all 1st, 24, all 2nd, 23 all 3rd). Therefor some coaches voted us lower than 3rd.
To find how many coaches voted us worse than 3rd (assuming everyone voted us 1 (BK), 3 or 4 (which is not totally true as we probably got some 2nd and 5th place votes. I assume they cancel each other out) . Subtract 22 from 22.776 and multiply by 58- this gives you the number of voters who voted us 3rd (or those who voted us 2nd with an equal number who voted us 4th). Gives 45 meaning coaches voted us number 4 (This is assuming nobody voted us lower than 4, but also assuming nobody voted us number 2; both of which are probably inaccurate, though I think they could have an equalizing effect in the analysis.)
This is completely ridiculous. Getting 13 more points would give us a .921 in the USA today. This would increase our BCS total by .003 which isn't a whole lot, but considering the .01 difference between us and Oregon is significant. NOTE: This same thing may be happening in the Harris poll. If it is comparable I could see us losing roughly .006 in the BCS, which is more than half of the gap to Oregon.
Hopefully none of this matters because someone in the top 2 loses.
Hey! I'm a card carrying tree HUGGER!
I will take that bet (if you're willing to make it 200M, I don't have the kind of scratch you're talking). I hope ND remains unscathed, but I also believe if all 3 are undefeated come bowl selection time, ND is on the outside looking in.
Should that be the case? Some SEC coaches stood up for their conference during the weekly teleconference and suggested that perhaps a one-loss SEC team should be part of the title equation over an undefeated team.
“I think that given the fact there might be an undefeated team, or there might be two teams, they don’t measure up with a strength of schedule that the SEC champ (will) have,” LSU coach Les Miles said. “If that’s the case, I think it would be fair to make that argument for our champion.”
South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier said whomever plays in the SEC game “has a chance to win it all.”
“Each week in this conference is like a Super Bowl.”
Vanderbilt coach James Franklin
“It’s not about who we’re playing, but how we need to play.”
Alabama coach Nick Saban, whose team is preparing to meet 1-9 Western Carolina
The last coaches poll is made public so all these jack-wagons like Saban and Jimbo Fisher will get waxed if they keep voting their team ahead of ND if we go undefeated.

what date does thatlast poll come out...is it before the final bcs rankings...or simultaneously...or after?
in other words will these coaches be able to vote in their poll knowing evryone will see their vote BEFORE the BCS computer does its thing to determine the final 2 teams?
see where im going here....
Good thing too with the hip and knee replacements.
The amount of bias towards the SEC is disgusting. I'm starting to see articles and hear people talk about a 1 loss SEC team jumping an undefeated team to play in the NCG. My god if that happened the NC would truly be the "mythical national championship."If you had all coaches/Harris pollers voting us no lower than #3 and a couple voting us #2 we'd be about dead even with Oregon.
The issue is some coaches voting us as low as #5 or #6... which is borderline fraud. There is also a Harris poll voter who voted Alabama #1 EVEN AFTER THEIR LOSS. Makes me want to vomit.
Their vote for the final BCS rankings is what is revealed. One would hope that once they see they have no shot of making the title game, and to save the embarassment, that they would rank the teams accurately.
Very unlikely, because the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl pick before the Sugar Bowl.
If the Rose and Fiesta selection committees inexplicably decide to pass on a 12-0 or 11-1 Irish team, we could face an SEC team in the Sugar Bowl. Or if both KSU and OU lose, we could meet 'Bama or UGA in the title game.
