And if anyone ever has been to BC... You know Boston is the only thing it has going for it. Place can't even be remotely compared to ND #goirish

Nor should you. I met a kid at law school who was a BC grad. He stalked me to a bar I was at with friends of mine from home who were in town visiting. Ended up following us home from the bar and peed all over my friend's living room.

I can honestly say I've never met a BC grad I liked, and I grew up in New England and live in Boston.

The "Back-up College" jab rings true to me, simply based off the massive inferiority complex most BC alumni seem to have regarding ND.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

By and large I'd be trottin' in your corral now, but tonight I say "**** on you."

BC '93 is a thorn in my side for a number of reasons. No need for details.

We lose to these feebs this year and I'll disappear for 6 months.

Weigh the possible consequences. Which would you prefer? Undefeated or no dshans until June? Huh? Huh?

Wait a second ... siap ... but BRUCE HEGGIE is in the two-deep for this game!!!

For reals ... with the injury to Nichols, N.Martin moves over to tackle, making room for the Heggie monster.

Is anyone else PSYCHED? In America anything is possible ... I really hope we get up big and he gets serious PT.

They are 116th in rush defense. Would love to see some up tempo spread running from Golson, Wood, and Riddick all on the field at the same time alternating at who is back and just pound it all day

Chestnut Hill is not Boston.

The game starts at 8:00. I'm going to start tailgating around 10:30. If I don't get killed first, I will be trying to make up all the annoyance BC people have caused me in my almost 30 years during the span of a 3.5 hour football game.

I'd expect more ND fans than BC fans IMO

He's been in the two deep all season (see: Miami). I understand you're trying to be funny and lighthearted, but you're not, and all you're doing is belittling one of our players.

I don't think it's meant that way...

We joke here and there, and I know that he's your friend, but I'm pretty sure all of us genuinely root for Heggie

Literally 100% of BC students and alumni support the Taliban and/or have killed a puppy.

At least they are smart enough, kind enough and sweet enough to leave the kitties alone.

I am truly pysched For Hegatron!! If Cam McDaniel is gashing BC in the 4th quarter behind Heggie's monster run blocking i think i will shed tears of joy.

He was not in the two deep against Miami, though he did play in that game. I generally look at the two deep each week, and I don't remember him ever being in it.

Not my intent at all to belittle him. Sorry if it came across that way. By all accounts Bruce is a great kid. That's why coach Kelly took a guy with zero other offers ... He knew he had an opportunity to get a "program kid" who would work hard and help set the tone in practice, as he has said in the press. I am genuinely excited for Heggie.

In fact I am really disappointed in myself for coming across differently. I purposely tried to word that post in a way that wouldn't sound belittling. In fact, I've repped you, Chamellion, for calling people out for belittling him. I agree that that sort of thing is unfair. I think of Bruce as a scholarship version of Rudy, I have all the respect in the world for him, and I truly got a little thrill from seeing his name in the two-deep.

i for one think Heggie is a great student-athlete and is the perfect demonstration of a RKG, I'm telling you come his Senior year he will have an important role to play. If someone told me 2 years ago Mike Golic Jr would be starting on a 9-0 ND team i would have laughed and look where he is based on grit and determination. I think the joke about Heggie just goes all the way back to when he committed and nobody had ever heard of him. Its nothing derogatory, we have faith that BK saw something in him that is going to help the program, hes a ND man and we support him as much as any one else on the team!

BC has an inferiroity complex and always will. I never had much hatered toward them until they tore up the visitors lockerroom and took a big dump in the middle of it. Since then its been "F*** You" BC.

After the Pitt performance, you can rest assured the Irish will open a large can of Whoop *** on BC and will use every single ounce of it. There will be no leftovers to put in the fridge.

I watched the end of the Miami game when Bruce was in and thought that he was blocking very well. I believe that if he had to play in serious time, he'd do his job. He's not Chris Watt, and probably admits it, but his technique seemed good, and his brains; he just doesn't seem to be quite the proper build for a full-game roadgrader. I'd actually love to see him get a bunch of minutes [for non-injury reasons] vs BC. I'd love to see him be able to walk away some day, not only with his ND degree, but stories of being on the field, and telling them proudly to his grandkids. He deserves it.

Does anyone know the coverage map for this game (more specifically for the west coast) ?

I cant seem to find anything that is definite. The best i can tell, is that the west coast is gonna get the stanford/oregon game, which leaves ESPN/ESPNU/ESPN2...or maybe even ESPN3 to see BC-ND. Anyone know how us west coasters are going to get the game?
