There is a great article about Te'o from the salt lake tribune. I was pleasantly surprised seeing it on the front cover of the sports section. It's amazing how much publicity he's getting here in Utah because of him being LDS. Of all the reasons for wanting ND to win it all this year, Te'o is #1 for me. He deserves the Heisman; to see him become the first and only purely defensive Heisman winner would be priceless.

On another note, I actually read one of the more insightful things of the day on none other than NDNation. In response to that article, one of the posters said something to the effect of, it is extremely common for Notre Dame to make someone a better person, but it is extremely rare that someone makes Notre Dame a better place, let alone a football player.

I cannot think of anyone more deserving of the highest honor in college football. I feel so lucky that my university is represented by Manti Te'o every day. Through his actions and words, this team has become his as much as it is Coach Kelly's .
