What's the point of EG getting time if he's not starting? Serious question. I would think if he's not ready to play, he's not ready to play- shouldn't matter where we are in the game.

"he's not ready to play" doesn't necessarily mean he's not medically ready to play. It likely means that he hasn't had enough time preparing for BYU's front for the staff to feel comfortable. If the staff feels like his athleticism offsets his lack of practice in the game, I'm sure we'll see him.

If Kelly plans on going forward with EG, specifically at Norman, I hope to see him on the field today at some point.. of course assuming he is healthy and not starting due to lack of reps.

I look forward to witnessing Tommy's progression as a gameday starter.

Offense should be pretty vanilla. Call a play, have Tommy check according to the front and roll.

Biggest disappointment for me with Tommy starting is that this again won't be the week we see a completed bomb to Chris Brown. Been waiting all year...

Obviously wasn't the first read. You have to throw it somewhere because you can't stay back there and take a sack. This is exactly why a QB like Golson is important. He can "haul it" when the play breaks down.
