The "All In" thread.

For those of us who have followed ND football for YEARS, but always seem to come up with the short end of the stick. This doesn't mean that we don't have concerns about future opponents, just that we are all in, regardless!!! I'm tired of saying that I'll be "all in" after the next big win. This team deserves better than that. They have little to do do with our past, they are our present, and our future.

Regardless of what happens from here on out, I'm all in!!

Conventional wisdom and touching the hot stove too many times in the past prevents me from said "all in."

Somebody link some bagpipes and drums and I'll change my tune, no pun intended. I was skeptical in Chicago last week until a drummer and piper came by and belted out some tunes. I immediately said "f--k it, we win by 20 today."

Might have been the booze, but that music makes me feel like we can take on the world.....

I feel ya. My current GF, but lifelong friend said something to me last week that really got me thinking. She said " even if you win this game, you still won't be happy". She was right. I've spent so much time concentrating on ND losing that I forgot how good it feels to win. This is a different team. They have a different mentality. I would really hate to spend a GREAT season focussing on the past. No matter what happens from here on out, this team has shown more heart than many in the past. GO IRISH!!!

Ive talked many a friend and family off the cliff during moments i like to call "crises of faith" I had one of my own, briefly last year after Michigan.....NEVER CAN SEE MYSELF PULLING FOR ANYONE ELSE........All in since i came outta the womb 28 years ago!!!
