Bogs. Man. Come on. This is stupid. Everyone just needs to stop. No reason to lose perfectly good posters because we all can't be perfectly happy with everything everyone says. I am legitimately saddened by this. I mean look at Buster and I, we rarely agree on much and trust me there are days he posts things I want to be a complete a$$hole about. But mostly I hold my tongue (or typing fingers? hell I don't know). I'm sure he does the same. But the important thing about Buster and I is that we both add to this place while agreeing to disagree.

I want Bogs here. So I am really hoping this is just a week off or something. Bogs, you need to be here with us.

Just saw this and wish there was something that I could say to make you stay, Bog. I'm seriously upset about this as you are my boy, blue.

I don't think that I would have been this upset if we would have lost to scUM. This is terrible news.

Someone please pm me the details on this. Also, a way to contact Bogs off IE.

You have been a tremendous brother here, one that we are all better for having had the opportunity to echat (yes I just made that word up) with. We will miss your Irish greetings and "individuality". Your perspective is one of the great additions to the site. I was on my way to the airport to pick up my wife when I saw this real early this morning and now that I have gotten some sleep and am thinking more clearly can someone explain to me why the most cheerful and optimistic posters on here is leaving the board? This makes me sad. We are off to our best start in years and our glass is half full guy is leaving. I want some answers please.

I would like to know too if possible. I let Bogs know privately I would be limited in my postings due to my school and work load and I returned periodically to check on the site. Things have slowed down and now I read this. This is sad. If someone would let me know if and how to contact him, I would appreciate it. I know Navin Johnson is saddened by this too. Life is too short for this stuff. Come on Back Bogs. Who else is gonna get my Jerk references?

Bogs--i really enjoyed chatting with you. you stood up to people for people without hesitation or reconciliation. a man amongst children in that regard on here.

i will miss your quick wit. and it saddens me to remove my irish------>english translator from my bookmarks page.

I too will miss Bog. Whether we agreed or not it was always interesting to see his view.

I get people leaving due to banned obviously, but I never get people just leaving. Is it because this site is a compulsion for them, an addiction? If so, then I understand and it is better for you to be away. I float in and out of here myself (thus my low number of posts compared to my overall time here). I know I am not an influential poster here, but some of you recognize when my name pops up and I can make a worthwhile wisecrack.

If I get fed up, I walk away for a bit but don't cancel my membership. Is it that I am laid back and don't generally get too caught up in things that it weighs on me when I am away?

How do you guys view your membership? If you have taken a sabbatical from here, was it that you just HAD to get away or just life/family issues made it so you didn't have the time?

Just curious...because it is sad when a friendly voice whom you have shared part of a journey with takes a different path and the chorus around you seems to be missing a particular tone...
