Yep the same ones that lost to BYU, Purdue (16-41), BC, Pitt, SC and Oregon St!

On rivals they are saying after day 2, Malik is rated 4th, with Shane Morris wearing the gold jersey.

Green jersey, gold jersey...who gives a sh!t! MALIK'S THE MAN!!!

Totally agree, I love that he has come into this setting and performed so well he is turning a lot of heads. Wouldn't trde him for any other qb? By the way Max Browne was rated 7th after two days.

“@BrianStumpfESPN: No. 3 in first set of @Elite11 coaches' rankings - Malik Zaire #Irish”

The Elite 11 coaches listed the first set of Elite 11 QBs out of the 25

Notable QBs

1. Johnny Stanton
5. Devonte Kincade
7. Max Browne
9. Christian Hackenberg

(means Shane Morris wasn't in top 11)

Doesn't a lot go on in a classroom (saw a pic of Malik with his back to a blackboard earlier) stuff like memorizing the playbook and reading defenses? Maybe they excelled at that

This is either a BS list or we don't understand it. No way Shane Morris isn't on it. All the reports have been raving about him.

Zaire up first. Very high football IQ. Let's see how his arm handles the wind. #ND

Zaire cutting mustard, let down by targets mental errors. #ND

Like how Zaire handles his business. Confident, not cocky. #ND

ScoutKennedy dogged the Elite11 Counselors ( guys like Trent Dilfer) as not real analysts earlier.

Half of me thinks some of the stuff they do is for ratings when they show it on TV later. After watching the 2011 show, I saw a theme: Studs like Kiel were overlooked while guys who didnt have any offers or under the radar were showcased. Not a Dilfer fan myself to be honest.

Glad to see Malik getting so many positive reviews from so many different people.

Malik Zaire with several really strong throws. One completion brought a few fist pumps from Trent Dilfer. #Irish

Malik Zaire had a better performance than Friday night making pretty throws towards the middle of the field, but he struggled with the throws to the sideline. He was victimized by several dropped passes. A wing-t quarterback in high school, Zaire is picking up the reads and checks extremely well and should have no more trouble picking up a college offense than a freshman quarterback coming from a more pass oriented offense.

Scout.com: Elite 11 Day 4

Article also has Zaire dropping out of the top 11.
