Does anyone have any word on his scUM visit this afternoon? I hope I don't get bitched at for asking, cause I know everything is always updated that ever happens but what the hell, I figured I'd risk it....Forgive me GB![]()

Ugh, he liked the visit a lot. Likes the coaches, especially because they are excited about him and he feels he can trust them. They said he'd be competing for early playing time. Very impressed by the Big House. Michigan is high on his list. "It's really hard to decide." per 247.
So no one has any test scores or GPA? I'm hedging my enthusiasm until I see he can get into ND and succeed it in the classroom. Peoria schools are awful.
Peoriairish-I read on a Michigan Blog site that the Peoria Manual kid that just committed to Michigan (Tulley-Tillman) is transferring to a Michigan HS for his senior year. Do you know if that is true? If so, I can't image that the Peoria HS coaches would be too pleased to see their players being recruited by the Wolverines.

P.S. I went to Peoria Spalding. Spalding sent many players to ND over the years that it was in existence.
Has he been on campus yet?
New coach fever plus Whitney Mercilus should help Illini
Posts #3 and #9.
The in-state Illini could be in the best position and are making a strong impression, but it would not be wise to count out a program like Notre Dame. Augusta's recruitment is just getting started.
Per ESPN:
That's good to hear. That is my exact feeling as well.
Yes it's because they are the home state school.Anybody know where the Illini love is coming from? Is it just that it's close to home for him?
If so, I like our chances. We aren't much farther away, we're a better team, and he'll get a better education.
Seems all but in the stars...
His athleticism for his size means he could reek havoc just about anywhere on the field.
And having said that, I know Illinois doesn't compare eye to eye with a Notre Dame education, but it is still a high quality one to obtain. I should know, I went there :smilewink
