The Espn arguement has some validity to it IMO. Not so much the recruiting rankings as some of the kids they value different than other sites ala Golden Tate, Tyler Stockton, and Devonte Neal, if I remember correctly were rated pretty high in the 150 versus rivals and scout. I actually think there issue is more about them being contractually obligated to NBC instead of the mother ship itself. But make no mistake about it, they know the following of Notre Dame is huge and they cover us pretty substantially if you think about it, from the banter between Holtz and May and the talk they get on gameday every Saturday morning. I think it's that they decided to taIke the kick me while there down approach. No matter how they spin it they know people will get riled up one way or the other if it's about that Catholic school in South Bend. That's just how I see it.

Really Lynch,Darby, Tee, Greenberry took it out of me. This yr i kinda just waiting to see what we get and looking at the class then...

He's a 5 star from Idiana so i'll say he is top of the list with Isaac Rochell 2nd...

Lynch, Darby, Tee, and Greenberry have totally different personalities. Jalyn is a great kid and he wants a good education too. He will make a decision and I highly doubt he will change that decision in the future

I always thought Lynch had a little bit of "thug" in him. The other 3 seemed like they could care less about education, they seemed like they just wanted to go into the NFL

Phork, I can tell you have been hurt my friend, but there are other fish in the sea. Move on from those once wonderful fish to the next big fish. I'm just being silly bro, but if your gonna follow recruiting you just gotta take the bad with the good. I hated losing those kids too and you know as well as I do we were a much more talented football team with them than without, but one could argue we will be a better team without.

I think you may have missed my man Trinity's point-- he was just disappointed/exhausted by the ordeal with all those guys...not trying to compare J Smith to them as players/recruits/human beings.
