IrishEnvy Thread Hall of Fame

Gentlemen and select few ladies that have identified themselves, I wanted to use my 5,000th post to start a thread dedicated to selecting Hall of Fame threads for IrishEnvy.

I have been lurking since 2009, and this has been the most entertaining way to pass the time while at work and on game day if/when I'm drinking alone. I know others have been around longer than I have, and I think this would be a good forum to show the history of IE.

Consider this to be a tribute to the good times shared by the members, a memorial to those who have left us, and a celebration of the best times of the site.

I think we can do this by some sort of nomination and / or voting process. I’m up for ideas on how to properly select it.

BGIF, HCTI, Johnnykillz, LA, the pham man, phork (I know, right?), ACamp, NDOM, BestB, mbeckha, Epitome, et al. (sorry, scotch #2), I'm looking to you guys to dig up some classics.

I nominate ".... And "poof".... as shortest lived and most enigmatic. A life span of an hour and ten minutes with 32 posts.

Granted I popped in late in the game. The thread lasted all of three minutes and three posts after I apparently doomed the thread to oblivion by chiming in with a silly reference to Poof (Puff) the Magic Dragon.

I get the feeling that there were posts that were "disappeared" before I stumbled on it.
