I think you can say that his focus is a good "indicator" of where things stand at this point.

Well with the sliding scale shouldn't he focus on his gpa. The higher that is the lower his SAT scores can be. Not saying he shouldn't be focusing on SAT, maybe find the good median point.

Rivals shows him having a 2.9 GPA. How accurate is that?

If accurate, that really isn't that bad for a football player. We have guys on our team that had worse GPA's.

There is no grade issue. Also Staff thinks he could decide as early as June.

Depends. A 2.5 taking challenging classes is going to fare a lot better than a 3.5 taking base level everything.

I wouldn't read into what Rivals has as his GPA listed on his profile.

As long as a kid has taken the mandatory classes (like the infamous 2 foreign lang) there is no way a 3.5 gpa would get denied for a football player. Even if it's all base level, they are a lock academically at that point.

Taking what i have been advised and what was in Tunnel Vision confirms...june could be a very good month for ND.

Can you give any hints to what you are being advised??? (Not busting balls here just very very curious)

He might take a couple more visits but from what Wilfong is reporting he wouldn't be surprised if a decision was made in June. If not look for an August decision. He hasn't been focused on recruiting because he was focused on his ACT.
