My family has suffered through a terrible ordeal this past year. But we are making it through, with many of your prayers and good intentions. But I have this friend who has been through so much worse. Members of his family have already lost one loved one, now he has shared this with me about his beloved brother, separated in age by 18 months:

My brother has "extensive and advanced" cancer in his pancreas, liver and abdomen. Oncologist didn't bother looking at PT scan after seeing results of liver biopsy. Surgery and radiation are not options. Chemo can be administered to reduce the size of the tumors in an effort to ease the pain and extend life, nothing more.

He can use all the love, thoughts, good intentions, and prayers you have to spare. I am starting with you before the local church prayer group, because your intentions have helped me and my family.
