Your 2011 must win games

i just wanted to see what games you guys find most important this year... Now i know we want to go undefeated, but what games are a must win for the irish to you..

mine i have to have the main goal USC, michigan, michigan st... these are games i fell i want the irish to just destroy teams in every way... USC we need to get a streak of our own going.. MICH. you all know to many games lost last minute that we had.. MICH. ST. i will never forgive them for the flag they are marked every yr for me now i wished a ND player would have sacked those fools when that happened penalty ban or suspension this is our house!!!..

UM and SC are my biggest. Followed by MSU/BC

I think the only team we will have trouble with is Stanford. We should be able to shut Denard down this year with Lynch and Ishaq.

I want to stomp Purdue so bad this year since there are fans here in Indy. I hate Purdue

Maryland is a HUGE game for us with the guys like Darby who will be right down the street... plus it is being played at FedEx Field so it's technically a "neutral site" game so it's important we have a good showing in the NFL stadium.

NAVY is also my number one. They have embarrassed us the worst.

I think they are all must wins. I think if Stanford is good, like i think they will be and we go there and beat them while having a great season. that will show me that we are back. Every game on are schedule i think we should win/will win. Stanford game will truly show me if we are back where we belong. Other than that i really want to be beat Navy and Michigan.

I think the most important game is Michigan. It seems like in the last few years we have started with an awesome win and felt a BCS bowl or some sort of greatness and forgot about the rest of the season. If we can go to the big house in week two and prove that we are legit (that is if we get past south florida), that will completely set the tone and prove we are a real team.

That being said, there isnt a single game on the schedule that isnt a must win game

navy i agree fully also we need to pound them out we had 60 game winning streak and have lost last 3 i think...

this will be the third straight year we crush them on paper... and this may be the biggest mis-match of the three even with 'laces... but in all honsety I'll expect a loss until proven otherwise...

I could accept a season with two or three losses [grudgingly] if we win against Michigan and Navy "to restore the proper order in the Universe" and win against USC to prove to the nation that we are back. Most other games would not be as deflating if these happened.

P.S. I believe that if we go 10-3 in the season and Michigan goes 7-6 that we pass them in terms of highest winning percentage of all-time. That would make a nice extra "sparkle" story for ESPN late in the season.

the games that I would like to see us win are Navy, Michigan and Michigan state and of course to beat USC again. I am hoping for a strong year, so I expect us to win against these teams and hopefully have a good showing against Stanford. I am sure we will lose a game or two this year, but I will be very upset if we let Navy get by us again.

IMO, the most important games to win are the home games.

Notre Dame Stadium hasn't been an intimidating place to play the last few years, and that needs to change. The "home field advantage" is so miniscule at this point, it's embarrassing. It is absolutely unacceptable to lose against UCONN, 'Cuse, or any service academy at home, regardless of the year.


WAKE UP THE ECHOES! MAKE SOUTH BEND A SCARY PLACE TO PLAY AGAIN!

Honestly, if they only win ONE game it needs to be against scUM. I live in michigan and I am so tried of their ridiculous and obnoxious attitudes. I'd love to put on my facebook status, who's your big IRISH daddy now??? haha!
