Why I am a fan of Cleveland Sports?

The suggestion among some fans that Kluber is the Kershaw of the AL, e.g. he can't "get it done" when it counts in big games, is false. He was very good in the postseason last year until Game 7.

I'm guessing (and, frankly, hoping) that he was injured, because otherwise I have to abandon all confidence in him in future postseasons. That said, if he was injured, the blame shifts to Francona. Why was he starting at all?

I think he was hurt. His back was messed up early in the season and these last two starts he's looked the same. Just didn't have it.

Brett Veach. He's from Mt. Carmel here in PA (15 minutes from my house), the winningest HS program in the state (used to be in the entire country). He was a hell of an athlete, I believe 2 time state championship team as well. Smart football guy, and has been with Andy Reid since Philadelphia.

I can't recall if I ever told this story but I was at the 2008 Sun Bowl between OSU and Pitt. It ended 3-0 with OSU getting one FG just before halftime, and that was it. So on the bus back to the parking area there is a Pitt alum, about 40ish, and he is RAGING... "I'M SO FUCKIN HAPPY I SPENT 1,500 DOLLARS TO FLY ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE TO WATCH MY TEAM SCORE ZERO FUKIN POINTS!!!!!" He'd just randomly scream at times... on and on, it was a very awkward 10 minute or so drive... everyone else was like:

Joe Haden's exit from the Cleveland Browns was unceremonious, unsurprising and for a team that ended up going 0-16, unnecessary.
