Per Dave Peloquin on twitter - it seems he may be hinting to a possible commit today. Any guesses?

I believe he is talking about the 2019 class. He could be hinting about the first 2019 commit, but I have no clue who it could be.

My guess is Karlaftis

Idk. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see either of these guys ending up in South Bend. I see the Greek ending up in Coral Gables and Bell going to Ohio State.

Loy CB's Joseph Anderson to the Irish. He is a DE out of Tennessee. Maybe him? But now I just sat that both Wiltfong and Loy CB'd Karlaftis to ND, so maybe you are right Wooly!

Given Karlaftis' recent comments about Miami, I have a hard time seeing ND accept an commitment from him at this point. He basically said he doesn't want to go to ND and only Miami...

I feel like it has to be one of these two given the recent CB's, and Karlaftis was just on campus. This is the first I've heard of Anderson, does anyone know if he was also just on campus?

Logic says it's going to be an O-Lineman as they seem to commit earlier than most other positions.

If it's not someone from the OL then my guess would be Jacob Lacey even though I don't he's expected back on campus until Irish Invasion.

I kind of doubt that tweet has anything to do with a 2019 commitment. This whole weekend is dedicated to the sophomores so he could be talking about all the 2019 recruits that are visiting throughout the weekend, some of which are today. That's my guess anyway.

Have to think we get at least one at invasion. Any ideas who?

Well since McGrone told II that he wants to take his OVs, it might be down to Don Johnson, is that right? Maybe somebody else will pop, or maybe somebody starts the 19 class.

Thomas Booker, Shayne Simon would be great and perhaps possible?

The obvious choice is DJ Johnson now that all of ND's top leans are going to The Opening Finals. The one that I'd watch out for besides Johnson and possibly Booker is Jack Lamb.

He's not listed as an attendee on the 'Irish Invasion' list. Is he going to be there?

I have no info. ISD hasn't said that they expect a commit, but they haven't ruled out anything either. I think we'll know a bit more when it gets closer.

He's coming in June but not at II i dont think

Notre Dame- "That's the one school I haven't visited yet but I'm planning to visit in June. I have a good feeling about the school and the coaches have been really consistent in recruiting me. They have a great program, sell out every game and have been a consistent winner so I'm excited for the visit."

Irish247 is making it seem like if everything checks out with the family on his II visit, then he'll commit then. So, he would seem like a likely choice.

I hope somebody pops, just to get the juices rejuvenated.

So, Franklin it is. I'll take that, followed by Booker at II. Finish up the DL recruiting before the season starts and only recruit really high level WDE's.

I hope someone on here that's in the know knows something that I don't. How have we not landed a commit since II? Like what? Paul Moala? Ya live right down the street and you go to the only school in the area that has a semi-consistent pipeline to ND. Also, your family has a relationship with Manti! What's the hold up?! Shayne Simon, c'mon dude. You'll be an every Saturday starter by your sophomore year at the latest. Kevin Austin?

Let's get this recruiting ball rolling again. It's been dry since we had that nice burst in the winter time.

And no, I'm not counting Takacs. We were the heavy favorites for a while and it was just a matter of time. II 2017 had nothing to do with him committing.

Shayne Simon would be my guess, I think he's in decision making mode and I really don't see him committing to UM.

Kevin Austin was looking to make a decision somewhat soon too per ISD. At least, he's not expected to enter the fall uncommitted

I'd bet my kid's 529 fund that Moala's offer has stips.

Dude's a serious playmaker but if it's my call, Gilman took his spot if I can land Lamb, McGrone & Simon. If one of those guys falls through, I'd gladly take him even with the overload at safety right now.

Simon and Austin are pretty certain commits at this point.

Hard to argue with our class, taking into account our open 'ships.

Just need to get a minimum 3 corner commits. Maybe three with a swing Db.

Not sure how Lyght got Pride, Vaughn, Love, J elliott, and Studstill and all of a sudden can't get a solid corner in two years

He'll be out of a job if he strikes out on CB commits two years in a row. That simple...
