Your guys' speculation seems to be quite a vicious cycle. lol

lol, totally. I am now echoing comments people made a week and a half ago when TP first made the "better than Agholor" comment.

So was the "better than Agholor" comment about one recruit who remains a mystery, and the buzz buzz on Wednesday about Rios, then? Lax mentioned today somewhere while defending TP that at one time we were definitely getting Armstead till it fell through so we should back off TP about that, implying that TP suggested we would get Armstead ... maybe the "better than Agholor" comment, which was made early last week, when it seemed we led for Armstead, was about Armstead, and the buzz buzz on Wednesday was about Rios? The timing seems to work out for both ... but I hope I'm wrong, because it looks like we are not going to get either.

TP, look how crazy you are driving me.

PHP:
do i have this right PAND...UCLA cleared him for an EE there (how convenient) herego preventing an ND visit by Rios AND in effect forcing his commtiment to them prior to NSD.

well played mora.

No you don't have this right. Rios committed to UCLA and stuck with it. He could have visited if he wanted to. He didn't.

I actually think TP said bigger than Algholor, not better than Algholor, thus the immediate speculation of Armstead(s), etc. In hindsight, that may have been exactly what he was referring to. Who knows, no one should be busting his balls about it.

With players like Goodman on the field is why we WON'T get back to the top of college football.

Isn't it bad enough that the rest of the country hates on our team? We don't need our own fans doing it to. The fact that you're upset about Goodman returning blows my mind. The only negative to him returning is the fact that you're going to bitch about until the end of next season. Although, if he doesn't come back, I'm sure someone else will become the target of your miserable, depressing posts.

Would love to know some more info here. Position? Side of the ball? Ranking? Has this person visited already? Feel free to pass along whatever tidbits you get ;0) Thanks for keeping us updated, PANDFAN! I'm disappointed we didn't land your boy. I think he'll be a very solid college player.

He said better, not bigger.

But you are absolutely right and I didn't mean to seem to bust balls. I should have used the sarcasm font. Rumors and hints that can't yet be substantiated are exactly why I read these boards; otherwise I'd stick to the MSM. So I don't want to seem critical of TP at all; keep those "buzz buzz"es coming.

I asked and he said it would give it away...the person said it to him in confidence and will not say

When athlete has these type of injuries it goes way beyond the physical. I don't think he ever recovered mentally from the injuries.

Yeah you're right, but it doesn't change the fact that he couldn't beat out true sophomore TOMMY REES. He didn't live up to his 'potential,' and I think it's ridiculous to keep talking about a fifth year player's (Goodman) potential. Obviously everyone has potential coming out of high school, or they wouldn't be at ND.

So, should Jonas Gray have rode the bench last season?

Jonas Gray is the exception, and he proved himself throughout the spring and fall leading up to his great 2011 season. To be optimistic about Goodman just because of what Gray accomplished what he did is misguided.

Athletes mature at different times in their career.

So i take it you suggest that Goodman should not of received a 5th year and leave all the leadership in the hands of who....TJ? he has had spurts at best of looking good. Please tell me from the WR who your leaders are....?

I have absolutely no problem with Goodman coming back. However, like you mention in this post, I think he's going to provide leadership, not on-field production.

Actually he did beat out TR if you remember who started the season...it was his mental issues that put him on the bench...if you think TR was more talented than Crist...YOUR NUTS! (not saying you think that)

The Goodman comparisons to Gray are unfair. Jonas Gray was a 4th year player-- he didn't get a 5th year to try and show his potential. He was able to demonstrate it before the 5th year.

I wanted to thank for your info with Rios this recruiting season. I know you must have been both excited and torn as to what you felt you should post and not betray his trust in you. Wish we could have landed him. He truly comes across as a genuine RKG. Let him know he will have ND fans cheering for him even at UCLA.
