Yeah, but I am sure he spins it like a shady salesman. I bet half of what he sells is BS. At least an ND education is an ND education. There is nothing shady to sell there

For what it's worth, Elliott goes to maybe the best high school in St. Louis - an exclusive, $20K-a-year prep school. His coach is former NFL QB Gus Frerotte. His parents were both varsity athletes at Mizzou (Dad football, Mom track). They seem like a pretty solid bunch, who'd understand what Urban Meyer's peddling and have the wherewithal to call BS if they saw it.
I know it's hard for us to swallow but perhaps the kid just prefers Ohio State?

Go all in to get 20 quality verbals and then put all the pressure on the recruit that if you are not 100% we got someone else that wants your spot. Before doing this you tell the kid waiting that if we find someone not rock solid and we take their spot for you are you 100% rock solid.

I personally find this better than kids using ND as an insurance policy, or having all the heat on the staff when they are the ones offering such an unbelievable opportunity. This gives the staff all the leverage and creates urgency all year not just a few weeks before NSD.

Sounds like Charlie's thought process (If you're looking, we're looking). This did not work out so well....

Bottom line, if we don't want Meyer eating our lunch, the program needs to take the next step. Meyer has made it happen on the national stage at UT and FLA. If Kelly can do that with ND, we get better recruits. If ND can sustain it-ND gets who they want.

Hahaha black, kinda looked like Jarron Jones. they were driving him around in a golf cart as is typical with recruits so I didnt get a great look. Definitely football tho.

I was thinking about this too. At the moment yeah you will fill the need of RB for them. If he lands a couple more studs and strikes out on a few DB's how fast does Elliot get moved?

I love the part where the guy brings out the leprechaun flute that is thousands of years old or whatever, when it reality I'm 99% sure it's the piece you put in the legs of scaffolding to stack them on top of each other hahah
