Ahhh, the Randy Edsall Corollary.
ND Nation still opines for Edsall.
Ahhh, the Randy Edsall Corollary.
What about Cutcliffe from Duke? If the guy can win at Duke, VS ND, he has to be better than BK
Question: If Miami University is the cradle of coaches...what is Cincinnati?
BK hanging out in South Bend is kind of an interesting note, I guess?
meeting w/ jackie boy today
Chip Kelly

So if he goes to Oregon, are we free of his buyout I assume? The ledger would be balanced and we could hire?
I just don't see any chance of Kelly getting hired at a significant job in the immediate future. I'd give it a 25% chance he's fired, and a 1% chance he is already negotiating with another school.
If Oregon just fired their guy, is it even feasible that a deal would already be in place with BK? I'm dreaming here.
he's well respected in coaching circles and would be a great hire for many schools.
Texas fired Strong and hired Herman 30-seconds later, so it could happen.![]()
Kelly is mentioned in Point 4. Mike Freeman's 10-Point Stance: Ryan Tannehill May Have Finally Found His Groove | Bleacher Report
He believes Notre Dame's players no longer respond to Kelly and sees little accountability from him for both the losing and the academic scandal in which the program was recently entangled.
Yes, but there is a PR aspect. He's going to want a big job, like Oregon, and their fans would not be happy. His casual fan reputation is a screamer with some big scandals that just went 4-8.
Texas was preparing to fire Strong for months. There 2016 is going to be our 2017.
I found this part interesting:
That's because Kelly has little accountability for the academic scandal.
