Is Sanford even on the radar as a possible replacement --- or is he still too green?

True, but take away this year he has done WAAAAY better than Fleck (who is an 8-5 coach with one good year) over the last 4 years. And look at everyone on Flecks nutties, BK may have worn out his welcome at ND, but I have no doubt in my mind he can still win a lot of football games. Nobody plays D in the Pac and he can recruit anyone he wants to play for him. He would be a great hire for them.
he's not on the radar for any jobs after this past season i'd say. He was a hot property last year, not now.
Bruce Feldman: Curious to see if Jim Mora and #UCLA make a run at #NotreDame's Mike Sanford to become Bruins new OC.
Even if he believes he has "zero culpability" you at least sack up and say "Hey, we realized that we didn't emphasize academics enough for some of the players and we've taken steps to make sure they all feel comfortable with their academic workload. It's not easy being an ND football player, so the coaching staff is going to up our support of the academic programs so our players get a top notch education and football experience."
I don't know how the question was put to him, about his culpability in the scandal, only that his answer was, "Zero. None." Without knowing the wording of the question, it's hard for me to say how appropriate his answer was.
Does it really matter? The optics are terrible with that answer either way. Kelly went from being an annoying politician behind the podium to giving zero fucks up there.

If there is a coaching change - my biggest request is to retain HH and that HH wants to stay. Everyone else, i'm ok with if they don't come back. Not saying i don't like them, I just think HH is a guy that recruits flock to for the most part.
Just out of curiosity, all accounts have graded NDs oline graded out as under performing, I realize the players love Harry, what game since 2012 can you honsetly say. Boy our oline really pushed their D around? The zone blocking scheme isnt a great fit for an oline thats 2 deep with 4 and 5 star guys. To me HH is overvalued and the oline is super soft

Please tell me he isn't interviewing Hoke for D coordinator

Interviewing Brady Hoke for the DC job!
Would that be bad? I know recruits love him but I have no idea how good he is as a DC. I didn't watch a single Oregon game in the last 2 years and don't know if they're 5-7 or 9-3.

His defense was worse than BVG's. Let that sink in.
It's 126th in the nation.
one of the worst defenses in ncaa this year....but he didn't have much to work with
Average defense ppg: 41.4 surrendered 50+ pts in 4 games.
ND: 27.8
Well, they went 4-8 and fired their HC.
I think that's Kelly's offense dictating scheme. Hiestand has a reputation of a great O line coach going on for well over 20 years. If you want them to maul, Harry will get them to maul.
Dont care what anyone says. If UT runs off Harry, who are they gonna get? You people dont understand. The Head COACH and OC determines what kind of Scheme that he supposed to be teaching the OLINE. Its not the other way around. Do your research before you blame it on Harry. He doesnt call the plays, and hes not the one that wants to use a Zone blocking Scheme. Hes doing what hes told. Zone blocking is about 70% Pass blocking.
