Hardcore is supposed to be realistic which makes sense for a RPG to kill you if you are near it. Warzone people are unloading 3 RPG shots within seconds

So I got killed by RPGs in Warzone today lol

But no there is nothing realistic about running around crazy blind firing RPGs,...

I ended up finishing Final Fantasy 7 Remake 100%. I was really hoping the combat would grow on me, but it still is buggy and sucks. Waiting so long for this thing I can't begin to describe how disappointed I was with the ending to this first part, along with the insufferable combat changes. It's flashy, but quite frustrating and just awful other times. I can say I have no ambition to replay this at any point and maybe not in the future either. Can't say the same about the original.

Had another good night in Warzone last night. A 3rd place finish with 8 kills and a 2nd place finish with 7 kills.

It's become a regular occurrence to kill the same guy twice in a row... I killed a guy on one of the cranes in the Port, then looted his stuff, grabbed a good sniper rifle off of him, and hunkered down in the driver's compartment to see if I could pick some guys off.

A minute or so later, I hear a parachute deploy right over me, and hear a guy land on the crane platform. I know he's probably back from the Gulag and trying to get his gear back, or maybe to see if I'm still there and to see if he can take me out by surprise, so I leave the compartment, rush him before he can look for any weapons, and light him up while he still just has a pistol. Sure enough, it was the same guy with a goofy red gillie outfit.

I love the buybacks thing. It creates more action early in the match, and it’s absolute mayhem later in the match right before buybacks are cut off.

I have a 4 tb external and yeah it’s a massive game. It takes like a whole day to download everything when you first get the game before you can even play anything.

Some of these games are out of control, something is not right. That's 4 fuckin' Blu Ray discs there, or 24 dual layer DVDs. I thought World of Tanks is bad, last I checked that game is like 100 or maybe 120 GB and the graphics aren't exactly photo realistic. That game should not require that much storage space for assets.

I keep most of my games on an external drive. I copy whatever I’m playing at the moment over to the actual console, otherwise I try to keep space on it.

I upgraded my internal PS4 storage to a 2 TB Hybrid drive last year. I now have all my games installed on that bad boy, including a huge number of my PS Plus games. I haven't noticed faster loading times. Hybrid is supposed to be comparable to a SSD drive once it's loading the same assets/maps/zones a few times, I haven't seen it yet though. Either way, the extra storage was well worth the cash, and I don't have to lug around an external drive when I go to my buddy's house for game night.

The hidden blade is back, and will work like it did prior to Origins and Odyssey... one-hit-kill assassinations on basically all enemies.

The game director did say 'virtually' every enemy, which I assume means there are some bosses that will be impervious to assassination attempts, as there have been in every game.

He also mentioned that the main character will need to use appropriate skill and timing. This probably means one-hit assassinations are an early skill to unlock in a skill tree, and that it's not just going to be a straight-forward button prompt when you do it.

Hopefully they aren't adding more hoops to jump through than that. I loved Odyssey and Origins, but it was crazy that you had to basically ignore the warrior and hunter skill trees to buff assassin damage enough to actually, y'know, assassinate people.

I've been going at it since December 2018... I would take a break from it here and there, plus I found myself just wandering the world hunting, taking down other gang members, and trying to finish the challenges. Finally closing in on the end.

I don’t use snipers very much because I prefer to use my FAL via loadout drops.

Total luck on guessing the amount of drop I needed lol

That was NOT my FAL lol, just a decent sniper I grabbed from one of the legendary cases.

I don’t think there’s wind to account for, just drop at long distances.
