Not a big fan of breakfast burritos, or any burrito tbh

I could eat a steak burrito for every meal. In fact, I had one last night, Sunday and last Friday. Anyone else try the new Carne Asada steak yet from Chipotle? Good stuff!!

My GF gives me shit all the time for eating so much Mexican food. Says all I eat is Mexican and pizza which isn't exactly true.

This is crazy. A youth football program has a rule a team can't score more than 30 points, but that's not what's crazy. The HC of the team that won by more than 30 is being suspended for two game and fined $500. WTF?! How in the world can a youth league fine a coach like that?

I played alot of youth football growing up.....one time we lost 35-0 to Upland, CA

“2. Life doesn’t let up. When it rains it pours.

Lesson learned - next week we lost to Fontana, CA 44-0. There was no let up in life in 1985, thats for sure, lol.

Yes. A good carne asada burrito is prob my fav meal.. sucks because the burritos in El Paso are so basic and small. Not what I'm used to. They're basically just big tacos.

I coached youth FB for 13 years. We didn't have any mercy rule. One game we're killing a team. I don't remember the exact score, but we're up like 40+ points. I've moved kids around and let those who don't get to play as much play. We're running nothing but dives just trying to get the game over. We fumble the handoff and the RB picks up the ball. He runs right up the middle for a 50+ yard TD. The other coach yells at me asking if I've scored enough points. Next time we played them, they beat us something like 40-0. lol

Oh man, you need to go over to the east side by Christian Park and get a real burrito. Sherman and Brookville, right next to Bar 52 (don't get shot). And I'll note, no one there speaks English, so dust off you Spanish vocab. "Burrito" is the same in both languages, I think.

Also, there is a pretty good authentic place at Stop 11 and Madison that might be a little closer to you. I'd give that one 2 thumbs up as well. This is where I went last Sunday and Friday for my steak burrito fix.

I just dislike the huge tortilla, not my thing at all. Carne asada is great.

And it's almost like Irish #1 hasn't been following our posts in the "What are you eating/cooking" thread at all when we talk about the different amazing Mexican food

After Cajun, Mexican is my favorite, then Italian. I love a good Chorizo/Pollo smothered in queso. Don't go to the Red Burrito (Southport & Franklin Rd (by the new Kroger). Very bland. We've ate at the one at Stop 11 & Madison, but it's been a few years. Also, don't eat at the El Arado in Fountain Square. The food was pretty good, but after my wife came back from the restroom she had no appetite. Apparently they store food in open containers in the basement and there was a couple of inches of water in the basement and it wasn't very clean. Haven't been back since.

We used to hit this little place in Cloverdale, IN right off I-70. No one but Pedro spoke english either. One day we stop and it's closed. About a month later it's open again so we stop. We asked where Pedro was? The waiter was very hesitant to say anything. you could tell he was nervous. Best we can figure, he got out right before immigration caught up with him and or they caught him. lol

They lady and I's favorite Mexican place where you sit down and eat is Fiesta Ranchera at Southport and Bluff. Their steak fajitas and steak tacos are both excellent. The steak is very crispy which I like. Top that off with a big fish bowl margarita, and we're in a Mexican paradise. Plus, unlike the dining area, the bar always has plenty of open booths to sit and watch a game.

No one's gone on this long about Mexican food in a thread about irritation since last year's top post on r/ibs.

We have a fully equipped kitchen in our building so a lot of folks will bring frozen meals and leftovers and store in the fridge. I had a youngster 21 or 22 working for me. I go to the fridge to get one of my Snapple's and there's only one left from a six pack that I bought the day before. Other's had mentioned food missing, so I sent out an email saying I will be happy to share what I have if you just ask, but if you didn't bring it in, hands off.

I also buy snacks (popcorn, chips, nuts, etc.) for the staff that are left in the kitchen to have whenever they want. I started noticing crumbs all over the kitchen counter and on the floor pretty regularly. This kid decides the grass in greener and quits. Miraculously, the food stopped disappearing and so did the crumbs.

Lol, the wife and I stay away from mexican food east of Texas/ Colorado

prob a good call...

For me today, this trend with Halloween. Way too many people seem to now take the "Don't be a dick and just hand out candy to anyone who comes to your door, it's free candy day!' stance...

It's not 'free candy day" and the last thing we need is yet another example of teaching our kids that they are just entitled to other people's stuff. Dress up, say thank you and learn a great life lesson while having great fun, it isn't hard. The flip is if a kid has Special needs or is super shy, if they are dressed up then give them a one off candy... that example shouldn't open the flood gates to "everyone gets a candy or just fuck off!" I've seen some stuff today posted on SM that is pretty alarming.

I was pretty amazed (in a positive way) at how many kids said thank you last night during our trick or treat. We also had a few shy little ones (~3 years old) who wouldn't say thank you, and the parents explained they had to have good manners to get the candy and continue trick or treating.

I was also surprised by the kids who were not dressed up, but would come to the door with 5 other kids.I still gave candy, but I was peeved each time.

I'm a big old softy, so I say give all the kids all the candy. Idc if you're not dressed up, acting like a fool, been through the neighborhood three times already, etc.

Even if they're being dicks... it's Halloween! Let the little assholes get all cracked out on sugar and then go home and revel in their ill-gotten gains, whether they said thank-you or not. As long as you aren't running over small children to get to the door first, we're cool (FOR TONIGHT ONLY. I WILL TOLERATE NO BITCHASSNESS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD TOMORROW.)

And that's you, and that's cool... I think my point is we are focusing on the following actual post i saw this morning: "Just give everyone free candy, adults, kids, dressed up, regardless, it's free candy day you twat waffles! If you don't want to give out free candy to EVERYONE then turn your lights off and fuck yourself" Is sending the wrong message... how about we try real hard to get all our kids to understand the communal aspect of this thing rather than throwing all that out the window in favor of "free candy or fuckyourself day" The posts i saw were getting overwhelmingly positive support. I know it's social media and everything sucks but damn, a big part of trick or treating is teaching our children, openly or subliminally, social responsibility and how to act in a society when someone does something nice for you.

Growing up, my parents started taking the family to a movie on Halloween and leaving a big bowl of candy out with a note about just taking one, leave some for others, etc. Without fail, the bowl would be empty when we'd return ~2 hours later.

The first douche bag teenager with a pillow case and no costume undoubtedly emptied the whole thing and ensured the littles in actual costumes got nothing when they came by. That enraged me (and still pisses me off). F*ck those assholes. I begged my parents to let me dress up as a scarecrow, sit limp in a chair on the porch, and wait for the first kid to try to empty the whole bowl so I could traumatize him. Alas, they never let me do it.

Regardless, any teenager who shows up at my door without a costume or younger siblings in tow is getting handed one piece of the smallest/crappiest candy in my bowl, and invited to GTFO my property. And I'd be a lot meaner than that were it socially acceptable to do so.

This. On the flip if a teen is there and dressed up and says "Trick or Treat " then they get a snickers. Let them be a kid a little while longer and if they went through the trouble of getting dressed up and played their part then I'm pretty sure you're about to hear "Thanks" when the candy leaves your hand. Honestly the teens that do it right are like my fav trick or treaters, but maybe that's because so few of them actually do any of that... and most are just punk kids holding you hostage.
