Looking through the ND uniform history, there are a ton of cool things we could do with throwback looks and things and we just don't. 2019 vs BC idk how both teams that were Under armor didn't wear Franck leahy era inspired unis.

Agreed IDK if its the new LED lights at all the stadiums now but the helmets looks like shiny packers helmets. i thought they looked great when they first re-did them 2011-2012

Definitely has to do with lighting to some degree. They look darker because they reflect the black above the stadium since LED lighting doesn't "flood" light in all directions.

LED lighting is here to stay. Do you notice how dark the crowd is for NBA games? LED is focused on the playing area. Night games at ND are very different than they used to be when you're in the stands.

Right, then gotta make some sort of an adjustment to the color or shine. The Rose bowl game at jerry world they looked awful like Bama was playing shiny LSU

I don't hate it. Itl'l look better with the elastic sleeves on the players. Lets wait to judge and see what they do with the helmet and pants.

Probably just trying to match either the Packers or Bears jersey, I believe both have simple arm stripes that are similar. In pads will look very similar to our normal jersey.

i dont really care about uniforms/fan apparel but if the rumored poor quality UA footwear being despised by the players is true then that is just unforgivable

No, I hate UA because of their footwear and supposed link to the 5th metatarsal issue. It's all UAs fault because they suck at footwear and their designs have been awful thus far. We can blame whoever accepts the putrid designs but they are just an awful brand at this point. I don't mind my UA workout gear but that's where it ends.

We need to cut that cord and get a real apparel maker.

What would be cool would be if they do the old style texture the way the packers do and they have done before. May just not be reflected in the replica

I’d prefer varsity stripes like UCLA vs what that photo showed which looked unimpressive even to kids

The jerseys look okay. It's nothing special.

But the problem I have is that the stripes will just help pronounce how insanely out of place the mustard pants are if we continue to wear them.
