Might be the grossest one since the baby shit green army unis.
Week old guacamole in San Antonio made too much sense.

The jerseys look okay. It's nothing special.
But the problem I have is that the stripes will just help pronounce how insanely out of place the mustard pants are if we continue to wear them.
Well maybe you can get ND to change their official colors: Gold pantone 117 to something you like because UA's spot on.

I hate the mustard pants. I do.
Plus they look better on the big uglies
I wouldn't mind the pants if the helmets were a better more classic gold, The helmets and pants don't need to match necessarily imo. I care more about the helmet than the pants and again just my opinion but it's looks like shiny yellow garbage recently.

Just my opinion, but I think the helmets are the best part of the new UA getup. Not a huge fan of the mustard pants, either.

What year was it when the helmet paint was exploding everywhere after tackles?
I must be crazy cuz I think the helmets from 2016 to now have been more crappy yellow looking than before. I mean if you go on YouTube and watch the "rose bowl" I just can't agree with anyone that the helmets don't look like shiny LSU helmets. This was great imo when they first redid the helmets. Doesn't look like this anymore.

That was at the end of the weis era mostly when they were still spray painting them

Those helmets were done by Adidas. These are done by UA. Adidas probably owns the specific gold coloration they used on those helmets.
I also think that most of the hubbub about uniforms and helmets in regards to coloration is also typically overblown now because we all watch our games on our personal TVs capable of putting out colors more vivid than what you would actually see in person.

You realize Adidas and UA have nothing to do with the helmets correct? Hydro graphics made them when they first re-did them and now Some compnay in FL does.
I'm saying the helmets from 2016 and on not the ones I posted, those are the good ones
Are you telling me my eyes are deceiving me?
Well clearly I don't then. hahaha
Either way though, wouldn't it be likely that each company that paints the helmets has to use its own trademarked gold coloration/process?
I'll shut up now on this I just think the helmet looks way worse now, I don't view this as gold or ND gold and I'm not an old blue hair I'm under 30 years old. This is 2015 vs 2020

I don't think there's a need to "shut up" about this topic, certainly entitled to your opinion. When there's a program as steeped in tradition like ND, there's going to be differing opinion and outcry anytime they change something. Field turf, alternate unis, etc.
When you show that side by side, and taking into account that both of those photos are night games (@ Pitt 2014 (Fuck that game, btw), and what looks like USC), your point is well taken. I like the 2014 hat way better.

You've got an argument when it's apples to apples. But you posted pics from someone else's stadium using floods vs. ND's new LED system.
You also now have to take into account production/broadcast technology. Home game was done by NBC using NBC hardware. Pitt photo was non-NBC with different hardware.
It all matters.
