Broadchurch S1 was fantastic.

I only watched PoI for a while as a guilty pleasure to see Lucy..... decent show though.

Fauda S3 comes out today.. Such a good show. Some of the chicks are yummy too.
Can't decide if my weekend will be a Fauda weekend or a Bosch weekend, or both....

First 4 episodes in on Bosch. Their use of the city is more like a character than a setting. Makes me feel like I want to go back there and live.

This has become my favorite recurring series.

I'm fixin' to start it shortly. Had to watch a few eps from last season to get back into the vibe.

Agree on the setting as a character thing. I love those kind of shows. Probably while I enjoy crime shows Shetland (Scottish Isles) and Hinterland (Wales coast) so much.

The theme song gets me groovin' too. "Keep swingin' brother"

Started Dexter and enjoy it so far
It's a great show. The ending is... interesting. The Trinity Killer season is outstanding. You'll never look at John Lithgow the same.

My favorite quote of all time is: "Surprise, Muthafucka!" That's probably not a surprise, my potty-mouth and all.

I don't care about the slings and arrows I may suffer by admitting this, but I am a huge "Phantom of The Opera" fan. The 25th Anniversary show is streaming free on Youtube:

Karimloo and Boggess are, to me, the best Phantom-Christine duo, ever. Their chemistry is amazing.

Almost finished watching Tiger King. Good lord, I didn't know white trash could be this entertaining! It's just whole new levels of white trash, meth, redneck, bizarre, freakazoid, lunacy. It's a train wreck you can't look away from.

So glad the Bulls Doc starts tonight because I am in complete Post-Bosch depression.

Up next:

Billions S.5 starts May 3 so I should be able to binge that sometime in August and then S.4 of Goliath drops in the fall after that.

Hopefully Goliath S.4 comes out sometime soon.

Finished Bosch this afternoon, and caught up on Homeland and ready for the series finale next week. Not my favorite Bosch season, but still very good. Homeland is better than I thought. Next week.....

Depressed because it'll be another year till a new season comes out, or depressed because you didn't like it?

I'm stoked for Billions. Definitely a top 5 show for me, if not top 2.

Anyone that was old enough to know MJ. 'The Jordan Rules' is a book I read back in the mid 90's. Must read situation if your interested in understanding the man that made basketball relevant.

Took my wife to see Phantom in London, we couldn't get the theme out of our head for weeks after.

Depressed it's not 25 episodes. It was over in a blink of an eye.

Up to S2 E4 of Justified. Really enjoying it.

Started current season of Bosch and knocked out three episodes last night. As good as the previous seasons.

Tiger King may have been too hyped up. Two episodes down and I’m wondering what all the commotion’s about,....

I finished it last night. It gets better as you get deeper into it. I think most of the appeal is that it's an absolute train wreck collection of people who take white trash freaky to the next level and you just can't look away. Think "Best of Walmart shoppers" and throw in some tigers and extra meth.

What I found most interesting about it were the similarities between the main characters. They're all con men who use exotic animals to lure in vulnerable people, secure their loyalty, and then exploit them as slave labor. Joe targeted recently released felons for his shitty zoo; Doc Antle targets hot young virgins for his creepy sex cult; Carole's got an army of crazy cat ladies online and volunteering thousands of unpaid hours at her "sanctuary", etc. Joe respects Antle as one who has pulled off the same grift, just much more successfully.

Goode could have gotten a lot of mileage out of emphasizing how these people are all predators of a different sort.

Yeah, I strongly agree. Joe also used drugs to get straight guys who were vulnerable and addicted to go along with being in a gay relationship with him. At least with Joe & Antle, they more or less were honest about what manipulative con men they were. Carole comes out of the whole thing as being the most unlikeable because she's such a complete overly dramatic, professional victim, phony. I found myself throughout hoping she got mauled and eaten by a tiger... slowly.

Loving it so far. I am glad they are doing this - I kinda forgot how amazing MJ was from day 1.

MJ had 3 distinct periods of his career:

Pre-Phil
MJ vs Bad Boys
Comeback MJ

MJ was the highlight film of highlight films pre-Phil and you knew the Lakers, Celtics and then the Pistons were gonna win it all.

As the Triangle was mastered, Pippen and Grant hit their stride and the Bulls developed the perfect roster. The starters, and endless supply of 6-10 bodies off the bench and at least three, 3 pt specialists who were always wide open when MJ swung the ball or a big kicked it out. This is when MJ started playing smarter.

The comeback, MJ bascially became a shorter, more athletic Larry Bird. He was always one step ahead and became an almost exclusive jump shooter. But he always had that extra move or gear when he wanted to use it.

What I think is odd is most kids think the Championship Jordan that they see in most highlights was always MJ. Nope, if they would watch full games from 84-88, they'd have a heart attack and never mention LBJ's name again in the same sentence as MJ.
