Took my wife to see Phantom in London, we couldn't get the theme out of our head for weeks after.

Nice! My favorite is Past the Point of No Return:

Just wrapped up Bosch and Little Fires Everywhere. You really learn to hate Reese Weatherspoon by the end.

That's pretty much true of any role I have ever seen her in except Legally Blonde,

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is starting Sunday on Showtime. I enjoyed the original Penny Dreadful years ago (Eva Green, yum). Looks interesting, so going to give the first couple of episodes a try.

Westworld Season 3

I have no idea what's going on, but it has been really entertaining.

It's definitely a show you have to watch closely. Not a casual watch... Which is why I'm waiting till the season is done and I can binge by DVR/OD. Probably going to watch the past seasons again. I rewatched S1 before S2, and realized I missed a ton the first time around.

Planning to watch LFE once I'm done with Fauda. How would your rate it on a scale 1-10. Weighing it vs some others.

Did you hate her in Big Little Lies?

It's crazy to see how the story has developed from S1 to now.

My buddy said S3 is a total departure, which I certainly can understand since they're off the reservation. Looking forward to it. Trying really hard to wait.

S3x6 is probably an all time top-3 episode, in my opinion. Here's my top 3, for reference:

1. S2x8 - Kiksuya
2. S1x10 - The Bicameral Mind
3. S3x6 - Decoherence

S3x4 is also really well done.

My buddy was hyped, and is making it really hard for me to wait for the season to get done.

I'm rewatching S2 of Fauda right now, which is really really good, so I'm safe for a few days lol before I'm tempted. Fauda is such a great show, but I'm on a TV high and might need to go directly to WW after I'm done.

Finally a Series Finale with a perfectly satisfying ending. Anyone watch the finale of Homeland tonight?

Had a great weekend of watching too much TV.

The premier of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels was pretty darn good. Natalie Dormer is still smoking hot. Love how they use here. The show escalated quickly, so will be interesting to see how it progresses.

The series finale of Homeland was great. Perfect ending, which you can rarely say about long running series.

Rewatched S2 of Fauda last week to get ready for S3. Such an awesome show. Watched it this time with dubs, not subs, and not bad at all. The suicide episode, still hit me in the gut all over again. Nurit, Shirin, and Daria... all yum

I'd give it a 7. The wife enjoyed it more than me. Not in the same league as Goliath, Bosch, Justified, Bloodline.

While I'm really enjoying Justified, it's a basically a really good tv show with lots of cussin. Bosch & Goliath are two tiers up.

I wish HBO would've picked up Justified instead of FX and given it the Deadwood level treatment.

Has anyone ever brought up Picard on here?

I watched E1 last night and was impressed. Excellent special effects and production quality. We'll see if the story line and writing carries through but as of now, I'm as high on this as I am Lost in Space (which didn't get any lover here either)

How dare you?

Justified is and always will be a perfect TV show.

For real though, it's great because Olyphant masterfully pulls off the 'good ol' boy' thing while still being cool as hell.

Boyd Crowder is maybe my favorite TV character ever, though. Walton Goggins is so good in that role.

Dewey Crow... he could have his own sitcom spinoff of his adventures trying to get laid in the whorehouse.

Wynn Duffey's eyebrows also earn the show an automatic +1 on the 1-10 scale.

OK, I'll take the challenge here. Remember, I really like Justified.

1. I'm the first person in my family not born in KY. Olyphant doesn't sound KY at all. And letting HIM wear that hat, just makes me think he's gonna go talk to Al at the Gem. I LOVE his role in Deadwood. Still, it works because you nailed it, he's badass cool in the part.

2. Boyd Crowder is believable and perfectly cast. He sounds southern. He should also be cast in the remake of the Mask. That man has a mouthful of teeth.

3. Dewey Crow? Sell the character to Better Call Saul because he needs to be in the BB Universe. Maybe Walter & Jesse need to resurface a little east of Hazard in Pike Co? Just marry the two shows.

4. Wynn Duffy! That actor, (Jerry something) played one of my Top 5 all time favorite characters = Kirk on Dear John. We literally used to mimic him like you would a character off Good Fellas. I was just introduced to Duffy in the last episode so I'm stoked to see where it goes.

Whew I misread your first post, didn't pick up on the context that you're watching it currently. Glad I didn't spoil anything in my rundown lol.

His KY accent isn't great... but there are a few guys that make limited appearances as law enforcement from other parts of KY over the course of the show, and they are so bad they'll make you laugh.

There's one guy who clearly read "Sheriff in Kentucky" as "Sound as Alabama as Possible," and then another guy who goes even further with it, straight "Foghorn Leghorn" style.

I'll get through it. I've had to put up with the accents on Shameless which is the most un-Southside sounding bunch of yahoos.

I'm a Trekkie from way back, so yes watched it, and posted something when it first came out. I thought Picard was much better than their other ST series. Much much better. Wouldn't say it's an awesome show, but good if you like ST, or the actors.

Blasted through Picard. Solid 8.5 for me. Really liked it and can't wait for the S2

One can not over critique bad accents. When the best soundin redneck on your show is from Australia, sumpin iz wrohng.

That said, I start S2 of Justified in 25 minutes.

Justified is awesome. I'm a big fan of Goggins and Tim O. And the chicks were good too. Both Ava and Wynona. I love Bosch and thought Justified was just as good.

BTW, I'm from Indy, but have plenty of fam from KY. It was hard on the ears until I got used to it. But didn't take long.

I'm a big fan of Stewart (Picard) too. Pill is a good actress too, and Treadaway has plenty of cred (was great in Mr. Mercedes). Loved how they brought in old characters throughout the series, but didn't rely on them. And I'm always down for Jeri Ryan... Yum.... I've always thought Hurd was hot too.

I started S4 last night. It hasn't dropped off a bit IMO. I had a man crush on Olyphant when I saw Deadwood. Now one of my favorite actors. I think I love him. Don't tell the wife. lol

Watched the first four episodes of The Last Dance. Would probably enjoy it more if I were a Bulls fan, but I do like the insights and the stuff that happened behind the scenes that the average fan doesn't get to see.

Just finished the 3rd season of Broadchurch. Loved the show. Wished they would have done a 4th season.

Yup, it was a good show. Did you know they remade it US style. The name of the show was Gracepoint. Only lasted one season. Same lead (Tennant), with a slightly different story.
