But don't think for a second that If I had Chuck Norris' liver I wouldn't drink Double Betty every second of the day.

Is Deschutes widely available down in Austin Zelezo?
I've seen most of the standard stuff. Fresh Squeezed (love this beer), Mirror Pond, Black Butte, Obsidian, Pinedrops etc. I think I saw a bomber of Abyss but nothing too rare.

Thoughts?

You could have blind taste tested me and I'd have spotted this was a Lagunitas offering... That's not a bad thing, just sayin.

Think a slightly milder, more citrusy version of Sumpin... Though I have been drinking Mosaic with it, so that may have played a role overall.

I'm enjoying it.

Today I picked up 4 packs of Oskar Blues Ten Fidy and Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad. I was happily surprised by the price on the Boulevard BBQ at $15, especially since the old 750ml bottles were $14.

Also, Oskar Blues Barrel Aged Ten Fidy should be coming nationwide in November.

The Barrel Aged is a time limited release correct? Or are they doing it like Lagunitas Sucks?

Austin Brothers Woody Wheat Ale. Thank you Jackalope.

Tastes like someone mixed a wheat ale with some A&W Cream Soda. Interesting and pretty good up front but suffers a little in the finish.

Just tried New Belgium's Citradelic Tangerine IPA. I had it back to back with a Grapefruit Sculpin and I'll be uncool and say I liked the New Belgium better. Might have enjoyed both more but I was sitting next to former Tree D-Lineman, Dave Carder. Gave it an overwhelming coniferous note that was unpleasant to the palate.

Firestone Walker Oaktoberfest, not bad but no OKtoberfest comes close to Ayinger's.

I am not really a fan of either of those beers, though both are better than pineapple Sculpin.

Lagunitas 12th of Never earlier

Now Stone 20th anniversary encore 10th anniversary IPA (10%). Lots of juicy citrus and tropical fruit with a little dank hops. Some jolly rancher type sweetness as well.
