Thank God the recruits seemed to have loved the visits.
I'd love to see come commitments soon. I hope we do. No info.

40+ recruits at Notre Dame stadium for it's first night game in 21 years against USC makes for a great time, win or lose.
Sheldon Day supposedly saying to expect 2 commits soon. Also said that Jordan Diamond really, really liked his visit but won't decide before NSD. And supposedly Jordan Payton LOVED his visit. Will be very interesting to see what happens with Payton... thought he was basically a Michigan lock.

I was talking to a few of the recruits that night. They were surprised by how lively the nd students were even after a loss (to be fair, living on a prayer had come on, and for those of you who went/go to ND, you know what that means). The guys I was talking were a wr and a running back. Nice guys but they were totally unimpressed by the offense. I told them, wait till our black qb starts playing. They immediately perked up, "there's a black qb? is he good?" I pulled up his highlights on my smart phone and let's just say they were favorably impressed. We definitely lost some recruits because of this game but I think a lot of kids saw a lot of good things, and we're going to be in it till the end. Remember, Te'o was at the Syracuse game. We know how that turned out
haha that's not what they meant. They didn't know we had one.
One was really short, like probably 5'6 but really well-built. WR was probably 6 foot, green nd jersey

RB look like this?
You knew the positions they played, but you didn't know their names? :|
You tell me what position a 5'6 kid with an insanely built lower body plays while getting recruited to ND. And I admit the other kid could be something else, but he had very large hands. And i think the rb may have been the one in the picture, but it was pretty dark so I can't say for sure.
I think a lot of it is they know that if they are the kids who return a championship to it's home they will be legends.I don't see how manti was the exception. I can tell you for a fact that if I was a stud player being "recruited" by SEC schools and ND, I sure as hell would not go there. If that were the case, we would have the talent level of Utah State. Every cycle, there are elite prospects who ignore the massive amount of hate aimed their way after they commit to ND, and in case you haven't noticed, we haven't exactly had good seasons.
