This sounds odd. I've never encountered such an issue.

Have you tried deleting your cookies for the site? Or maybe logout and log back in?

So after reading your reply I went looking for cookies on my iPhone. I don’t access the site from a computer. Either way, found no cookies, but went to the Safari app in settings and deleted the website data for IE. I guess it could’ve deleted the cookies as well, but it did fix my front page issue. So thanks for your suggestions.

We aren't aware of any issues with the website. Did you have any other tabs open on your phone at the same time?

I will sometimes get random pop-ups on my iPhone saying that my passwords are compromised or that I have viruses, and "Google" can solve the problem, but it's actually directing you to a 3rd party app on the app store. I have never had this pop-up while using IE, but I guess it's not impossible.

I'm hesitant to do that just because having the Front Page be the landing page for the site is what was causing all of the issues a few months back. Can you bookmark irishenvy.com/forums/frontpage on your phone/browser and navigate there that way?

So there is a bug in the software that the developers are aware of. The technical support lead for vbulletin will see if it can be addressed since the issue is already in their queue.

I haven't seen any pop up ads, just the anchor ad that appears when I scroll down on the site. I haven't made any recent changes to the ad set up either.

I usually have a ad at the top that can just disregard but twice today had it present itself instead as a box in the middle. Might just be safari or me then

Safari is for the poors.

Yeah I just got a pop up on Safari surfing on my phone. That should not be happening. Only ad that we’re supposed to have is an easily ignorable banner ad.

We’ll look into it and see why Google started serving pop ups. Hopefully it’s a quick fix.

I looked into it and Google automatically started an "Experiment" this morning at 7:44 to test new ad types, specifically vignette ads which are full ads that pop up between page loads. I cancelled the experiment and we should be back to normal. Let me know if they keep popping up.
