Website Problems + Updates

the last few weeks I've experienced different problems with IE, both on Iphone 6+, and PC. The Iphone redirects (when I sometimes try to access a thread) to the app store to specific apps, while the PC goes to a banner advertisement when I click on some threads.

Is anyone else having these issues.

To anyone in the know, is this a new $ making path that IE owners are taking?

I was having the banner advertisement issue on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone a week or two ago. I am not currently having any issues right now though.

ETA: I had a period of 2-3 days where every time I clicked on a thread on my phone it sent me to the banner advertisement site. Made the site practically unusable.

Started for me about two weeks ago. Once every ten-ish thread views on my phone it will send me to the app store or try to open some random google doc.

Same here. I won't even use the ipad to access the site anymore. Click a thread, get sent to the damn app store.

Thanks guys. At least I know I'm not going crazy. The app store redirect is really irritating.

The app store redirect bug will hit my iPhone 5 every few months. For a few days, it will open the app store with every third or fourth page view in IE.

It always goes away, but I also know that it will be back for vengeance.

I'd think it's a punishment from the technology gods for checking IE too much.

I've just limited my IEing to PC for now.

Happens with Android too. Comes and goes. I do notice the faster I swipe / scroll to the bottom the more quickly it redirects.

I have some of these issues... one thing really bothers me though, why can't we post a picture directly from the cpu anymore... we have to upload it to Photobucket or hyperlink it somehow... why can't we just grab an image from our files...

oh it's the site alright. IE is about the only site I hit except for CNN a little, ESPN a little, but that's it. My phone is pretty new, and has limited apps as well.

It's been happening to me on my laptop. Every 4-5 times I click on a thread I get redirected to a banner ad. It's mildly annoying, but that's what the "Back" button is for. I imagine it's more irritating on a phone.

no back button on the phone when it redirects to app store. pretty painful.

Is this something that has to do with IE, or does it happen on other sites, too? I just got a new phone a few months ago (IPhone 6+) and it did not start happening until then. My wife said she has never seen this happen on her IPhone 6, so I'm assuming it is an IE problem. Question is, can someone please fix it? These interuptions suck out loud.

It has been happening to me while using my PC for a few months now. It will take hold for a couple of days and redirect every few clicks to a banner advertisement then nothing for a couple of weeks.

Seems like there are problems again, but this time lasting a lot longer. For some reason the only way I can access the site is in incognito mode on my iPhone, but won't work on the computer at all.

If you clear your cookies, it works. I am the only one online though, so maybe this is temporary success.

I think it has to do with the fact there are 31,769 guests online.

windows phone here. Site hasn't worked for 4 days, I'm just now on pc and see site is actually up. Downoruprightnow list site as down on phone and pc, downforeveryoneorjustme.com has it up on both lol. on phone it just says database error when going to site
