I never ever vote in these things but I voted this time because this guy needs to get Heisman attention in 2012. Phil Steele may do alot to further his chance at going to New York in 2012. I think he has a good chance of being a legit Heisman candidate in 2012.

As good as he is, a LB will never win the heisman. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't vote for one.

Suh came awfully close to winning the Heisman as a DL... and that position has far less glory potential than a LB. If Notre Dame won a NC with Te'o putting up monster numbers leading a #1 defense (basically a 0% chance of happening... but just sayin') I almost guarantee that he would be in the top 3.

Their have been alot of things in this world that people said would never happen, but they have. So it is always possible. If he had a absolutely rediculous year, I think he should deserve it. But then again most defensive guys are on an up hill battle to win where as the offensive guys already start at the top. Definitely would not be easy, but is possible.

Thanks for the heads up. I managed to get in about 5 or 6 votes for Manti. Maybe it is just a matter of clearing cookies and cache. As of 5 minutes ago, Floyd leads 55.6% to 41.4% over Jeffery from South Carolina.
