4 2nd half possessions and it was almost as gross as the 4 straight 3 and outs in the first half. Hopefully tons of film for motivation. Will need a more complete performance every game the rest of the way.

I would like to see a solid clean game against Army where the team puts it all together and is firing on all cylinders. Then, just a solid enough game to come away with a victory at USC. That’s a rivalry game and I’m sure Trojans will play tough and Riley will be looking to get key wins to close out the season (and maybe to keep his job?); doesn't have to be an ND blowout. Then at that point it’s a whole new season - The CFP season and I’m sure Freeman and the team will be pumped and focused! Then we’ll see what this team can really do / become (or not). That 12/20 or 12/21 game (hoping no mess ups here and we’re in!) will be highly anticipated and super exciting! Go Irish!! 🍀🍀🍀

If not openly corrupt they were confused and saw a lot of motion. Assumed a procedure penalty and then had to figure out what bullshit could stick
This is what it looked like to me. Two guys in motion. But obviously it wasnt.

Either way you have to love our special teams coordinators the past two seasons.
It’s been a blessing after suffering during the BK days.

Up 35-0, you control your own future, despite the refs.
ND should have ran it down their throats. 45-0 type of score.
They did, one score was gifted following a 40yd incompletion somehow ruled a catch, second score was vs the backups in garbage time, and at least 2 scores taken off the board due to penalties, could have easily been 49-0.

I'm definitely not bitter the garbage time TD ruined my taking ND against the spread...

If that's true, you need to throw down some money on ND to win the NC lol
Why? What if Riley gets hurt, what if more Oline go down, what if Watt gets taken out, what if Love goes down? There are plenty of things that could happen that would knock ND out even if one believes they are good enough to win it all which I truly believe they are, but I would never put money on it and have never put money on any game ever.

Stop overcomplicating the damn offense when it’s clear you simply need to give the fucking rock to Love to pick up an easy 4 yards.

Otherwise, like everyone else has said, fuck the refs.

It’s clear this team is best when they play pissed. The more bored they are, the more mediocre to subpar they perform.
Yeah just run Love, Price (a lot more) Leonard and pass (but not to Collins) a bit to mix things up.

Why are people obsessed with giving the backup offense/QB more reps? The season is almost over and the passing game is still very inconsistent- the first team needs as many live reps as possible

If Riley can’t throw consistently bye now he never will.

Really enjoy all these fake punts and kicks when they're in control of these games. It may seem unnecessary but they're forcing every team they play to think about it and waste valuable practice time preparing for this circus.

They're creative - have to believe they’ve got some wrinkles up their sleeve for future games. When the time comes and they really need a big play, the defense will be ready to defend what they’ve seen, not whatever wild idea these assholes come up with next.

The football Gods rewards shit like this so it may pay dividends when they need it most.

Very true and good point.

Plus very difficult to set up a return when that's lurking in the back of your head as well. Huge advantage as long as the punter punts it more than 25 yards in the air

The offense struggled and it felt like the offense was kind of bland early on. Once it was 35-0, the offense got even more bland. But also the refs were incredibly bad.

Two hands to the face penalities against ND OL in game 10 when I hadn't seen a single hands to the face called against an OLmen all season long. Cool. Cool. Probably my 2nd favorite ref moment(s) after the post-fake punt TD huddle where they simply couldn't come up with a reason to justify a flag quick enough.

Also worth mentioning, last night UGA was rocking...but I was at the OSU/ND game last year in SB. And ND is right there in terms of stadium atmosphere! The only real noticeable difference are the girls, and the after party in downtown Athens.

So what's the solution? I'd prefer to keep working on it, especially considering there could still be two months left in the season. You think we should just give up and put Angeli out there?

Leonard won't be a consistent passer by the end of the season, but he's not going to improve by standing on the sideline
