Me: "I'll take 'Don't forget about Matt Elam' for 800, Alex."

Alex Trebek: "That's today's Daily Double."

Me: "I'll wager everything."

Sorry Me, but the correct answer was UK.

Jake Brown posted this the other day. Anyone know what kind of events go down in the tents? Recruiting tactics always interest me.

^^Greer Martini will be one of several Notre Dame commits visiting for this weekend’s game against USC and the 2014 linebacker from Virginia’s Woodberry Forest School is looking forward to it.

“It’s always exciting getting back on campus and I can’t wait to go see a game,” the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder said.

“I went to the Stanford game last year, so I can’t wait to get back up and see a game this year.”

After last year’s visit, which included a dramatic overtime win over the Cardinal, Martini is hoping for an even better atmosphere this time.

“It’s always exciting,” he said. “I think going into a night game, it’ll be even more exciting. Whatever happens, I just want the Irish to come out on top.”

Martini will have the chance to reunite with some of the future teammates he’s met before and others who he hasn’t met yet.

“I think it’s going to be exciting because those are the guys I’m going to be with for the next four years,” Martini said. “To develop relationships before I even get to Notre Dame is important to me. Going in knowing some people and creating friendships before I get there is definitely a positive.

“I think just getting together and creating chemistry before we even step foot on campus is very important to our success as a class.”

But much of the focus will be on the 2014 visitors who haven’t committed yet and Martini will talk to them as well.

“I’ll tell them some of the reasons why I committed to Notre Dame,” he said. “I’ll talk to them a little bit about how if they join the squad we already have that we can do something really special and basically just encourage them as much as possible and hopefully we can get a couple guys who can help us out and surround the guys who are already committed with more talent.”

Martini’s Woodberry Forest squad enters its bye this week with a 5-1 record and three games remaining on the schedule. The Tigers are the top-ranked private school team in the state and are a couple wins away from clinching the Prep League title.

“For the team, I’m honored to help restore the order,” said Martini. “We lost the Prep League last year and that was the first time in six years that Woodberry hadn’t won the Prep League. The goal for our team was to get back the Prep League championship and get us back on top.”

Martini recorded 17 tackles and caught a touchdown in Woodberry Forest’s last game.

“Individually, the goal is just to become a better football player for the last three games and just to enjoy my final three football games as a high school player.”

Green is a big visitor for 2015.

can play ILB and a teammate of Kizer at Toledo Central Catholic.

stock is going up for him and would love to get involved with a good visit experience. helps to have Kizer already in the fold here

Hopefully that translates to a much slower USC offense to match our already-slow ND defense.

Frickin' great weather the last few weeks and then Mother Nature pulls this stunt. Hopefully the 60% is sporadic.

Updated the list. Looks sexy. Surprised no one has noticed/commented on the link in Drue's name.
