WOW....He is the top WR in most mocks I've seen up to this point. Honestly cannot believe he would stay another year.

He's definitely taken a hit this year (deserved or not), and with Evans and Watkins coming out he has competition for the #1 WR this year. I hope the Jets take him, he'd do wonders in any West Coast offense.

I mean, Lee coming back isn't good for us, but Agholor scares me much more than Lee (of course Lee + Agholor >>>> Agholor).

That guy is something else.

Do we know that he's coming back for sure? He was on Jay Moore sports the other day and it sounded like he might be leaving for the NFL.

I'm confidant that Russell and Luke can shut down Lee and Aguilera next season.

I haven't watched much SEC/Pac12 football this year, but I haven't seen a single corner that I feel confident in stopping Agholor. I guess I'm maybe higher on Agholor than most, but I feel he's one of the biggest freaks in CFB.

I went to a few USC games this year(section 5, Row 21, seats 105-108)...surprisingly, ppl(and I was sitting in the alumni section) in the stands had some not-so-good-things to say about Marqise Lee(lots of drops); they didn't pile on him, but the fact they had anything negative to say at all was little bit shocking to me. Most seemed to think that Lee leaving next year was going to be a good thing, because that was going to allow Darreus Rogers (#84) to get more PT. Most ppl I spoke with at the games, were really high on Rogers saying he was the next big thing, and were ready to see Lee move on.

Personally, I thought Agholor was more of a dangerous threat, rather than Rogers. (not saying Rogers wasn't a good player)

Michigan just offered 2015 USC QB commit David Sills. Remember, he was the kid who was offered and committed in 7th grade. His offer may not stand with Sarkisian now.

Haha it's funny because they still got daddy to push them two 5:s: players from his "school"...

BTW, Sills sucks. Some people around here have said he doesn't even look like a BCS level QB, much less a premier USC level QB. If you count Shane Morris as underwhelming, this will be the third consecutive "meh" pocket passing QB they've signed. I'd rather him land at USC and eat one of their schollies, but would laugh at Michigan getting him too.

Either way long live Hoke.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Sills_(American_football)

On September 1, 2011, in his debut as a high school freshman, Sills earned ESPN HS East Region Player of the Week for games of August 25–27 for 17 for 21, 221 yards and four touchdowns in a 54–18 defeat of 2010 Ohio High School Athletic Association Division V state champion Ursuline.[20] For his freshman 2011 season, he totalled 2,340 yards and 28 touchdowns in what was his second year as a varsity quarterback. He was named a MaxPreps.com U.S. Air Force Second Team Freshman All-American.[21][22] Following a freshman season, where father and coach David Sills IV contributed to financing an entirely out-of-state schedule including air travel games to California,[23] Red Lion Christian Academy took actions to downsize its athletic program.[24]

On July 1, 2012, he led his team to the National 7-on-7 Championships.[25] As a sophomore, Sills became the quarterback for Eastern Christian Academy (ECA) of Elkton, Maryland. The move was controversial because the school is a newly formed online educational institution. All boys that are enrolled are on the 46-man football team established by David Sills IV to showcase their talents to college scouts.[26][27] Eastern Christian Academy was only able to play in 3 games in 2012 due to the school's failure to gain accreditation from the state.[28][29]

I love it that some some on this board remember events from more than five years ago ... and are caustic, accurate silver tongued devils.

Jaleel Wadood just committed to UCLA. Trojans thought with the new hire and buzz around the program that he would commit to them.

0-1 for the Sarknado.

Schrader has a history now of putting his foot in his mouth. A couple weeks ago he said Lee was coming back, now this:

Players with eligibility who are not likely to return next season, from all of the sources I talk to, are Dion Bailey, Marqise Lee, Marcus Martin and Aundrey Walker.

There has been some movement this morning on the USC coaching front with two media reports on Justin Wilcox and John Baxter.

Bruce Feldman says a source confirms the hiring of Wilcox as defensive coordinator effective after the Washington appearance tonight in the Fight Hunger Bowl. This move has been rumored since the day Sark was hired at SC so it comes as no surprise, even with the recent push to potentially keep Clancy Pendergast, who apparently will look to return to the NFL. Pendergast did his job in 2013 by turning around the Trojan defense in impressive fashion. Wilcox is known as an up-and-coming defensive coach with experience as a player and coach in the Pac-12.

Gary Klein reports that Baxter has been told he will not return as special teams coach. Baxter had a big impact on special teams, in addition to working in 2013 with the tight ends. He also was known for his off-field academic game plan, and even wrote a book this past year. It is not known if Johnny Nansen will coach special teams, he coached them in the past at Washington, or if Sark will bring in a different coach.

Here are the updates on the staff:

Steve Sarkisian - head coach
Clay Helton - TBD
Tee Martin - WR
Peter Sirmon - LB, recruiting
Keith Heyward - DB
Johnny Nansen - TBD
Justin Wilcox - defensive coordinator

USC coaches unknown if they will return or not: Tommie Robinson, Mike Summers, James Cregg

There is currently an offer out to WSU DL coach Joe Salave'a
