Meyer wants to coach somewhere... doesn't want his last stop to to have bad reps. Me thinks he could win at USC, and distance himself from the midwest issues. I would be suprised if Urbans agent isn't already on the phone. Big issue is was there more stink at OSU than Zach Smith?

I think Meyer has eyes on the NFL, but we'll see if he's willing to wait for openings. I've also heard from numerous USC people that there is significant pushback against Meyer.... but if the $$ boosters want it, they would probably get their way.

USC to hire Cincinnati's Mike Bohn as AD, hoping to bring the Bearcats' momentum to the Trojans' turnaround. Mike Bohn, the athletic director at the University of Cincinnati, will be named to the same position at the University of Southern California, sources told The Athletic.

Let me get this right.

The Trojans are hoping to get the Bearcats momentum.

Sagarin has Cinci ranked #26, one slot behind his #25 USC ... that's a lot of momentum to be gained.

Perhaps if USC swapped it's 12th Toughest Schedule with Cinci's 43rd Toughest might help.

UConn, ECU, Miami OH, Marshall, ...

SC just wants an AD whose never played for the football team & doesn’t know the fight song. Mission accomplished.

If Meyer wants the job, it’s his.

So with the Chili Tech AD on board, the next SC HC should be:

Bryan Harsin w/ Jimmy Lake as his DC.

yeah i'm with ab2c, there's no reason for her to answer 'yes' there, regardless of the truth

Obviously I have no idea if she's telling the truth or not but saying no is the obvious easy answer because there isn't a question that follows. Saying yes just begets more questions on a topic she doesn't want to discuss publicly.

Refreshing Clay might be back but this game worries me next year. They've played us close the last two and from what I've read should be better in 2020.

Understand your point but the game worries me less with him walking the sidelines, rather than Urban

Just enjoy this while you can. We've benefited big time from this decade of mediocrity at USC. With the right hire we're gonna be getting our asses kicked pretty regularly.

His presence is dissolving their talent level. Maybe USC will be slightly better in 2020 with continuity rather than a reset but it's definitely a long term negative for the program to lose so many recruits to Oregon and Washington.

This dynamic goes both ways with this rivalry and has for literally decades... for being the winningest, most storied rivalry in CFB it's actually been rare that both programs are rolling at the same time...

I think it's definitely going to be a tough test in the Coliseum next year.

They're going to be great in 2020, IMO. Will be our 2nd hardest game.

I don't know about great but they are scheduled to return several starters and have some players coming back from injuries. They will be better I think... but how much better with Clay H. still at the helm remains to be seen.

They open up with Bama next season, they play at Oregon, at Utah and at UCLA and of course ND at home. They will probably lose 3 of those.
