Kind of annoyed that we agreed to play week 1, but glad we get to beat their ass again even if it isn't in October or November like it should be.

While this screams weak and caving to SCum....just win baby. If MF keeps his eye on the prize and goes and grabs a couple before then who the hell cares...and then blow them the fuck out.

We need a natty so bad so we can dick smack all these cowards when they even think about canceling future games with us. Win a natty and we can lay our cocks on the table and troll every fan base in the country.

Sucks the dates aren't the traditional weekends, but whatever. At the end of the day it needs to be played and we'll beat their ass.

BYU every year would be sweet. Their fans are so unlikeable to me that it becomes a really fun matchup.
BYU would be a fun Thanksgiving rivalry now that the Holy War is played early. But we've never really had a Tday weekend tradition. The SC/SJSU split always felt more like a logistics deal than a tradition. I'm not sure I like Miami or BC for the final game either.

Why not Miami? To me, that's the move, at least in the years we'd play down there. They don't have a Thanksgiving rival either, and those 80s/early 90s games were massive.

BC is an interesting idea. Thanksgiving Day high school football is a big deal in Mass. and a BC/ND rivalry could help build a whole weekend out of it. Though I suspect they'd face the same hurdle hosting a game Thanksgiving weekend that we do, in that most of their students go home that week and the school largely shuts down. It's also not going to move the needle for us CFP-wise, though it's not like Stanford does either.

Love it - Pete took the gloves off for this one.

And the hate in the comment section is glorious.

I don’t know what these people are gonna do when we win a Naty
What did Pete say?
