Kind of annoyed that we agreed to play week 1, but glad we get to beat their ass again even if it isn't in October or November like it should be.
Week 1 hasn't really been that big of an issue. It's been Week 2 that has been the kryptonite so far.Plus, no more sleep walking to start the season. Camp those years will be laser focused!
Nope Halloween.1.) This game belongs on Thanksgiving weekend.
2.) I hope we keep BYU on the schedule or at least schedule on a semi-regular basis.
Sucks the dates aren't the traditional weekends, but whatever. At the end of the day it needs to be played and we'll beat their ass.
BYU would be a fun Thanksgiving rivalry now that the Holy War is played early. But we've never really had a Tday weekend tradition. The SC/SJSU split always felt more like a logistics deal than a tradition. I'm not sure I like Miami or BC for the final game either.BYU every year would be sweet. Their fans are so unlikeable to me that it becomes a really fun matchup.
Why not Miami? To me, that's the move, at least in the years we'd play down there. They don't have a Thanksgiving rival either, and those 80s/early 90s games were massive.BYU would be a fun Thanksgiving rivalry now that the Holy War is played early. He did not hold back anything against Lincoln Riley and USC in here and he’s absolutely right about it!he gets shit on sometimes, but Sampson cooked here![]()
Notre Dame-USC’s return is a win for Lincoln Riley, but everyone lost along the way
Yes, the return of this series is worth celebrating. No, it doesn’t make the next four seasons without it any more forgivable.www.nytimes.com
Nice jab at BK too. Which is funny because he got the interview with BKHe did not hold back anything against Lincoln Riley and USC in here and he’s absolutely right about it!
Love it - Pete took the gloves off for this one.he gets shit on sometimes, but Sampson cooked here![]()

lmao

Lincoln is afraid to play Texas Tech OR is afraid to play USC when he is coaching Tech…I don’t care much for Texas Tech but that’s pretty shitty for them. They legit tried to do the right thing and schedule a serious OOC opponent for once, and then USC pussied out of it.
Well they're in Michigan's date slot. Might as well fill that void as well!Looks like ND vs USC is about to leave the respected rival phase to the hated rival phase.
I’ve really enjoyed his time at USC.zero chance Riley coaches USC in 2030
2027 appears to be booked. May need to tell the ACC to do a solid after last year’s BS. 2028 one slot open
What did Pete say?Love it - Pete took the gloves off for this one.
And the hate in the comment section is glorious.
I don’t know what these people are gonna do when we win a Naty
