Wow, this is becoming the most entertaining opening weekend that I can remember. Lots of good games and tight battles with underdogs.

How big of a dent does today's results put into the Heisman candidacy of Fournette and Mayfield? Neither looked very good.

Had a huge argument (debate?) with my roommate and his brother who are both from New Orleans this morning about how in general the SEC is overhyped, and how they don't deserve their generally high rankings. My favorite quote was "I can't wait until LSU beats the shit out of Wisconsin today to prove you wrong" The Schadenfreude is real right now

I'm torn on the subject of SEC hype. I can justify (in my head anyways) both sides of that coin

The Notre Dame fan in me wants to, but I would fucking love it if the SEC shit the bed this badly on as big a stage as this opening weekend is

Not Bama. Bama has earned the hype year after year. It's the rest of the SEC riding their coattails that need to be brought down a peg.
