Well, that was certainly the first thought, but I would actually prefer a USC humiliation both now AND later. I presume that our playoff goals will not hinge on us blowing out USC, but rather an undefeated season. Two reputable losses for USC will be sufficient joy, and the nail in the coffin for them.

Yeah... an up and comer like Herman could do wonders with all that wasted talent. Les is a likeable guy but getting his team up for only one game in early November just doesn't cut it any more.

Houston threw a terrible INT when Wisconsin was had a 2nd and goal and he threw a terrible pick 6 in the shadow of his own end-zone. That's just a throw you CAN'T make late that deep in your own territory.

And they've had a shit ton of bad penalties that have put the offense in 1st and long.

Herman would do great just about anywhere he goes. Dude was the brains behind that Ohio State offense that won a National Title in 2014 and he had a great first year in Houston and is about to have an even better year in 2016.

It was roughly $11 mil a couple of years ago. The state can't pay it and that's why some boosters said last year they would pay it when they wanted Jimbo. Even if the boosters ante up the buyout, the state is in no position financially to open the bank for a guy like Herman. Tiger nation will have to just deal with Les... and less... for the foreseeable future.

That's what I saw too. You could tell that he was ashamed on the sidelines too. I honestly think he, at least instinctively, thought it was live.
