I'm sure it would be nice to knock Stanford off ourselves, but I still think our best shot at taking a playoff spot is having the PAC-12 and Big 12 get eliminated from discussion. Then again, Clemson about blew it against NC State, so maybe they they aren't as good as we thought.

Same. I think we're in a good position where schedule shouldn't be a big problem now, especially if we're being compared against a 1 loss TCU or Baylor (Obviously if either is undefeated it's irrelevant). We really just need to have the PAC-12 and Big 12 take themselves out of the playoff picture and the rest will take care of itself if we keep winning.
