I think both will finish with at least one loss, probably more for Baylor. I can see Baylor going 10-2 or 9-3, and TCU 11-1 or 10-2.

Is WMU offense that good?

Or is that 24 points not really 24? Ie punt return, pick 6, etc

Or is Michigan States defense not that good this year right now?

I know WMU scored 7 on a kick return, and benefited from good field position on returns a couple of other times. I'd imagine it was a bit of MSU rust, a bit of WMU being up for the game, and also that WMU isn't going to be too bad this year.

WMU didn't look bad at all. They moved the ball well and had a QB who didn't get rattled despite MSUs front 4 getting push most of the game. I'd love to have Calhoun and Mcdowell.

And WMU dropped two other TDs, one was pretty well defended but the other was perfectly thrown.

I stopped watching early in the 4th. It felt like the Spartans took the foot off the gas a bit at the end of the 2nd quarter and the 3rd quarter. They've shown flashes of brilliance, but I don't think they're the #5 team in the country. They certainly haven't been lights out, especially in their secondary. Dantonio has chewed them out a few times. The run defense still looks decent though, and McDowell has been a beast at times. Connor Cook isn't going to get it down with a < 50% completion percentage either, especially when he's playing a better defense.

Did Darrell Royal or "Coach Royal" script all his commentary? Cause typically when I see Mack on camera he seems to mention Royal any chance he gets, like he met Elvis.

Not sure what all these scouts see in Cook. Don't see how he is a first round pick or even a second round pick.
