I used to think this too. But if he is winning skills challenges, he may be perfect sticking to OLB/WDE.

I bet Bonner and Blankenship bulk up to SDEs, and Trumbetti and Williams stick at OLB/WDE.

winning the skills challenge against other linemen means he is a highly athletic lineman. moving him to OLB means he is an OK OLB in my opinion. Bulk this boy up and put him on the line where he has superior athletic skills to his peers.

Those skill challenges presumably include WDEs. CAT is basically a glorified lineman. I agree if we are talking about DOG, though.

My point is really just that I am not as worried if he can't put on the weight. I think he could be good rushing the QB.

Ah that's awesome. I was going to post pics of the one I got from the New Era store here but I forgot. It looks perfect in blue and gold. Has the Pinstripe Bowl logo on the back as well.

I don't even wear flatbrims but I can't wait to wear this thing to Yankee games this year.

Was going to wait to see the finish, but Trumbetti is my fav of the class. I am a DL nut , so I am biased , but his athleticism , speed and power is elite. No way he redshirts. My guess is he will be a future leader and play a lot of football at Notre Dame.

Not really. Lynch was a wonderful psycho mode DL with speed. However he played out of position lacked respect of the overall team mission. Trumbetti looks to have far superior awareness and instinct of the game but has equal speed and power. Off the field there is no need to explain how Andrew is light years ahead of Lynch.
